This entire scene is comedy gold.

Gleason really stole the show, he was fantastic in his role at Buford T, Justice. I remember this film coming out and a bunch of the guys and gals from my old neighborhood decided to go see "Smokey and the Bandit" together. We laughed our asses off, so many great lines throughout the film, and excellent sound tract as well. Life really was better back in the 70"s. Music was better, movies were way better, people actually talked and listened to each other, My first concert was the Allman Brothers band, I got to see Lynyrd Skynyrd perform live before the plane crash. I can remember seeing films such as Patton, The French Connection, The Sting, The Exorcist, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Chinatown, Dog Day Afternoon, Shaft, Rocky, Star Wars, All The Presidents Men, Three Days Of The Condor, Annie Hall, The GodFather I & II, Deliverance, Jaws, The Deer Hunter, Midnight Express, Jeremiah Johnson, Apocalypse Now, A Clockwork Orange, Blazing Saddles, Alien, Dirty Harry, Magnum Force, and one of my all time favorite westerns Outlaw Joey Wales, and even those kick butt Billy Jack movies back then, many enjoyed at drive-in theaters, which kids today know nothing about. Smokey and the Bandit was just so much fun to watch, a real joy. Thank you for gifting us with these gems.

Gimme a Diabla sammich an a Dackta peppa and make it fast Im in a goddamn hurry! lol so rude but somehow, he makes it completely inoffensive. Im 36 but I love all these older classic movies. the damn kids nowadays don't know what good movies are. Can't believe its been 5 years since we lost Burt Reynolds. RIP Burt and Jackie, yall were something else.
