The Most Important Scene In Blade Runner 2049
It’s amazing how a single scene could contain so much relevant information that is reflected throughout the movie. For me, the most profound thing that happened there is that it set up Officer K’s gradual change to becoming less of a Replicant and more of a Human. Allow me to explain why in this video.

The Scene That Made Trigun One Of The Greatest Anime Of All Time

These kinds of movies would take you from your fantasy inclinations and bring you back to real-life stories; and show you that real life has its own, unique beauty. One of those movies for Studio Ghibli is Whisper of the Heart. ...

    Amazing, great analysis on this episode, but have one question. What was your opinion and interpretation as to why she ran away from her old class mate from all those years ago? Surely she could have had more closure on her past? But then again if she did go back to her it wouldn't mean much and would probably make her feel more depressed/ hopeless since she no longer has a place to belong to. Maybe her finally seeing her house in ruins was just a realisation for her that she has to move on and not cling onto the past . Also hands down Ed and Ein were probably my favourite characters. Characters, show , everything is so well written in this anime!

    what defines a soul? Roy had a soul, sure, he was a violent psychopath but he had as much humanity as deckard did and in the end, saved Rick and spared him. This is the whole central theme of Blade Runner.. androids are man made, yes but so are humans, the difference is one is naturally born the other is bio engineered. They are given life, memories, the capacity for love and self awareness then we tell them no, you are not allowed to live as people, you are inferior, you were created to serve. Joe had a soul, he wasn't meant to acknowledge it or give much thought too it, but he did have one.

    Great film, and great analysis. A part that's always bothered me: the girl who implants the memories tells K that his memory is real but doesn't tell him it's hers, basically letting him believe the memory was his and leaving him in obvious distress. Is there a reason she did not tell him? Any reason I can come up with rests on the conclusion that the girl is very uncaring or completely unsympathetic to replicants, neither of which jive at the way she is poetrayed

      @johnplaydown1975 Před 2 měsíci

      Absolutely great film, and thank you. There are many theories as to why the girl didn't say anything to K, but there is this line she said that probably answers your question: "Well, there's a bit of every artist in their work. But, I was locked in this sterile chamber at eight; so, if I wanted to see the world, I had to imagine it." So she probably put her real memories to some of the replicants, but she couldn't tell K because it's illegal.

    I just watched a video by "Film Thought Project" on Sicario (2015) where they reference Carl Jung - "No tree, it is said can grow to heaven, unless it's roots reach down to hell."
