I have been able to find genuine Cartier used bezels on ebay for <$50. The one i picked up was in just about new condition and can be polished like new with a Cape Cod cloth very easily. I have both the large Santos in stainless and 2 tone. I picked up an extra stainless bezel on great shape for <$50 on ebay and have it as a backup if my stainless( i use more as a casual and more frequently wear of the 2). I usually wear the 2 tone for more formal events. I own a couple of nice Rolexes and switch back and forth. The Santos is a great addition to any watch aficionado rotation. Hope this helps. I use it to measure speed in a 100 meters. You divide the stopped number by 10 and that gives you the km/h. For example, if you measure Usain Bolt's speed when he broke 100m record, you'd stop the watch at ≈10 second (2 o'clock) position which is 400 on the tachymeter. Divide 400 by 10 and his speed ks roughly 40 km/h.

Ok! This is an incomplete explanation about that. I would say how much things happens in hour, not only kilometers. For example if you do something in only 9 seconds you will complete 400 in a hour.

some watches age pretty well with scratches but not this watch. try not to avoid scratches if you can

The problem with these watches is that the moment you walk outside the store with these timepieces on your wrist, you lose half the purchase price. You have to love the watch itself, not as an investment.

This is a watch for the people who need to have it. This is for the 62MAS/Seiko fans only. I’m saying this cause I don’t see real value paying 3500$ for this watch. First of all, a 6L movement at 3500$? That’s ridiculous, I really expected the 8L to be used at this price point. I would definitely for a BB PRO paying an extra 500$. You get an in house COSC certified movement, with an amazing bracelet. Seiko can be really disappointing these days.

The perfect balance i think is to wind a watch once a week if you dont wear it.
