Situated in north-east Switzerland, the compact Churfirsten range is one of the most striking in the Alps, particulary when seen from Walensee to the south. The "Karrenfelder" or clint and grike karst fields on the north side also deserve an honourable mention. These time lapses have been ordered by time of day. And a distinction made between the impact of moon or no moon on the night landscape.

Every June thousands of sheep are herded from Italy into Austria over a three thousand metre high mountain pass in search of greener pastures for fattening for the plate. This was shot in 2022. I`d hoped for snow on the trails, as I`ve seen some spectacular photos of sheep moving in that environment. But it had been a very snow-poor winter. Never mind. Some other time maybe.

Englishman Norman Croucher lost his legs in a railway accident at 18. The pain and sense of loss at that tragedy drove him to become a professional mountaineer. I`ve climbed with Norman multiple times, including on Everest in 1993. This is my tribute to him. Glad you liked it Arn. I try to mix it up, some time lapse, some real time video. And where one style starts/ends has to tie in with changes in the music. I didn`t always do that but I`m learning slowly

Absolutely love this especially with the transitions you use and the contextualising of the Swiss scenery with the culture. I'm from New Zealand and love the mountains too. Some amazing Alpine wonders.
