Mountain light

The simple title of this video borrows from the title of a coffee table book from the late American adventure photographer Galen Rowell. My own sphere of activity is the European Alps, a part of the world Galen rather looked down on as it it is comparatively over-developed compared to the cable-carless and hutless North American West, not to mention the Karakoram Pakistan. But light is light, regardless of the adventure quotient. That said, I shot most of these scenes while overnighting in my humble Renault Kangoo, quite often in remote parts of the Alps, the remoter the better as far as I was concerned.
