Hey do you have a contact email
This is not brake related On my 94 GMC sierra 5-7 TBI 2500 It starts perfect and the spray injectors run perfect for ten minutes then start spraying little and bogs down to a stop. I changed the relay on the firewall and the I.A.C. could it be the E.G.R. relay ?
Right on time I'm about to run a new line to the rear brakes of 94 sierra 2500 the bleeders are probably seized I like your gravity method need some or those nifty tools, Ill look them up the stopper clamps and hydraulic hose clamp for other work thanks.
Great video... Thanks
Tku sow much sir
I stick a telescopic magnetic pickup tool to the bottom end of the alignment pin and the weight of it makes the pin stay straight up and down.
I got a Detroit 12.7 and when I go up here or have a low it doesn't pull its like there's no power when I have a load on it trying to figure what I need an overhaul
This guy is a national treasure im an owner operator with a detroit series 60 and thinking about getting a home use welder very timely 👍
I retired from trucking after 46 yrs 5.4 million miles had enough
SOUNDS like a steam train 0:47
Nice clean welds, I don't see much spatter. Good video.
Handy little machine and works well.
It'll be nice to see you use it on some jobs.
Maybe some day I might use it at someone's house or something where I don't want to lug a bigger machine and a bottle of gas.
This is great for light or quick repairs. I'm sure it will be quite useful!
Yep, it's a keeper.
thanks
Welcome
If I am welding mild steel it's always with flux core.
I prefer the gas shield because it's so much cleaner but flux core is handy for quick jobs on the go and this little machine or one like it is perfect for a quick job away from the shop.
@@57bagre Everything else I tig so having a bottle of argon & a bottle of c25 is just another expense I cant justify.
I saw one of these on another channel and he was pretty impressed with it.
I don't remember seeing this brand before they contacted me but I've seen a bunch of new, off brands out there in the last few years.
👍
👍
What a Nice little unit for the money ! Perfect for small Jobs. I have a 252 Miller and love it but this review has opened my eyes to other brands. Thanks for the video Gordon
They have a Miller 252 in the shop at my job, I have used it and I like it a lot.
Well done Gordon ! The copper/nickel is much nicer to work with steel as well. Its a little more money but well worth it. I hope your video gives others the confidence to take On a brake line job.
I am now keeping at least 1 roll of 1/4" and 3/16" on hand after I had a customer's brake line blow out in my driveway and I had to fix it with steel lines from the parts store and the only flaring tool I had was the little clamp-on deal from Harbor Freight which is still good to have for under the car on the end of a line I am splicing on to. I still drive and fix old vehicles so it's good to have the brake line tools ready.
What a Nice work area for you, Im sure you will enjoy that ! How is the trucking ? Its slow trucking for me as well but sure I dont mind. It leaves time to Get other things done. Looks like your making the best of your time. I always look forward to your new videos.
Thanks for the comment Pete. You must be doing ok financially for the moment to say you don't mind trucking slowing down so you can diversify your time like me. That's good to hear as so many are worried and might have to sell some of their things to stay out of trouble.
My hat's off to you. I tried to make a simple fuel line. I gave up and used hose. I'm glad I live in the southern US where there isn't salt on the road. Old cars here deteriorate from the heat and UV of the sun - on top. The chassis are all fine. (sometimes well oiled, LOL) The brake lines on my 22 year old car look brand new.
I would like to be in a warmer area, I really dislike the winters here.
I have to replace fuel lines on my pickup, really looking forward to that.
You can get 3/8" line in this alloy too. www.amazon.com/Roll-Copper-Nickel-Fuel-Transmission/dp/B015YGREXU/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3V6HJBTRKBENU&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.88fwWQ3mtEJcZSP5lYVjfhrI2u2DYSoPuKILtydWW31UovTTmd1Igm7p8xWnzIDgttGGbDMieWMYfu8zY6er7BBwnT4dDfDC5QHlsyOV3tAqfmUjJ2KZrQNvvz99OsGyi-jQOH0IkLsi6Z_Nj7TTIW2m6-QfVrm_lQccVTWA4_X6okehjD0gSkWJIDQ66Uso0su0T7iHaFFHnVaHhAjUR-rrtB2CmJL2WIR9pJIw7d8._xL7Oo58-KFjF2AvyLAdPbbT_BqiLeGcTLJhrrFEeks&dib_tag=se&keywords=3%2F8+inch+copper+nickel+alloy+fuel+line&qid=1723083481&sprefix=3%2F8+inch+copper+ni%2Caps%2C163&sr=8-1
@@57bagre Yes, its' pretty popular around here with the millions of tons of salt brine they use!
I always wondered how they hold the frame down!
They did the same thing on my mobile home.
That line looked factory. Nice job!
Thank you sir.
Looks like that winder for the anchors takes a man to drive it.
It does look like it could run away with you.
Nice job gordan
Thank you sir.
Good job. The only tim3e I ever did this is on an old pickup I had...short line....maybe 4' or something. SO I bent it by hand, and it had flared ends already. It worked great.
I did it that way for years and got tired of paying that much for pre-made steel lines that will rust again and are never the right length.
Lookin' good! I always hated having to do any work laying on gravel and dirt. I think the only thing better than this would be to work inside.
Just trying to get the most benefit for the least property tax.
Just wandering why you didn't pour all the to the base of the structure?
Great detail, thanks for sharing. Will let you know how I get on. 😀
Great Vid man. helped me out. all done now it got dark out when I doing all this so I still have to put all that plastic back on but I rode around and it;s all good. Thanks
LOL people. i just stopped this right in the middle of it al and went and changed out my front brakes. my new ones did not have the grooves either and they were not the OEM honda ones is why. i picked EBC sinistered when I got these and it was because they were pretty expensive for regular people that have 100 dollar bills they can shed out, LOl i got these expensive ones for 24 dollars, both sides. and I got the rear for 9 bucks. i could have got some cheapo chinese ones but i just held ot till I found someone that was selling the better ones made in the USA / any who, just took that bike for a RIPP around the neighborhood , it;s after 10:30 now so I really laid into it , Bajajaja you would not believe what a GL1500 sounds like with open pipes. it is way way way More fun! Honda OEM really are the best brakes for the bike, REAL ones not teh dumb ones. The REAL Honda Brake pads are made by AKEBONO - they are awesome for cars and bikes. However, I think akebono had some agreement with honda about saying that out loud in ads or some shit. i cant find a real on a akebono pad anywhere . anyway, I barely know what i am doing on these brakes, just followed this video and changed them out and did several tests and my brakes are AWSOME! not really but they are as AWESOME as a gold wing brake can get. You know what i mean.
Always good to see you!
Thank you sir
3/8 Allen socket but what size??
Thanks for the video I have the same problem now on mine
Thank you for commenting.
Step 1. Buy some WD-40
I don't miss fighting the rust on my vehicles when I lived in Illinois. Thanks for the video!
Yes, cold winters and always very humid.
Thank you very much
Hi Gordon brilliant video I love your new garage
Thank you sir.
Yikes those brakes were awful they look good now, That shade is an awesome thing.
Yes the shade really makes a difference but the rain still gets in because of the height until I bring the sides down about half way to cut back on that.
Gettin' things done, that's always a good feeling. The rooftop looks great. I think I recall hearing you mention needing something like that. Always fun and educational, which I like. Thanks for the vid!
Thanks for watching buddy!
@@57bagre 👍
You handyman is tired😢
Aee they, recaps😮
Thanks for update staying busy as ever looks like..wonder how much wind carport is rated for or if they even metioned it..thanks take care
The wind was rated at way more than we will ever get unless a tornado grabs it with it's tail directly, I forgot what the numbers were but like 140 mph or something which I doubt it could handle.
That's a nice carport I have been looking into one of those also for my backyard but there are no deals right now. Are you going to enclose it or leave it open?
I'll bring down the sides part way to block the early morning sun and cut down on the rain coming in. I'm scared to close it all the way because of taxes, I'm already paying over $4500
@@57bagre 4500 for all three of your houses or 4500 for just that one?
That's all 3 I think the 1 is around 2000 before this add on
Hi Gordon, thanks for the update. I've switched over to using copper coated brake lines when I have to replace them now. They don't rust out like the metal lines and they're alot easier to bend. maybe worth looking into for your truck. Let me know what you think. have a good one.
the brake line I use comes in 25 ft. rolls and is made of copper nickel alloy.
@@57bagre Yep, thats the same stuff. Very nice.
$4500 for property taxes? That seems quite high for what Structures I see on your property, Does this include both sides of the street, Was it reassessed after you put the mobile trailer and poured the pad? Or did they play Mr. Sneaky man and just hit you with an reassessed bill without even talking to you about it? Is that with Senior Discount? Everything looks real good over there, Cheers from up North here County gotta always got to take advantage of people all the time.
