My only real concerns about playing against an Obeka deck are related to time. I can easily see an Obeka deck taking 5+ minute turns, depending on how it's built. If the triggers can be easily resolved quickly, like the cards you had, then I don't think I'd have a problem with it. Relatedly, that phenomenon you were discussing with "kill on sight" commanders definitely informs my deck-building. I much prefer playing value engine commanders that are rarely the most threatening card on the table.

I love the inclusion of Replicating Ring in that Obeka deck. That's a really fun way to ramp in that deck. And you made a good point about Dominus of Fealty. I think it'd be really fun to explore what shenanigans you could do with that. If nothing else, you can just yoink some good lands to use for your second main phase. If you're creating multiple additional steps or phases to be performed "after this phase", the most recently created steps/phases are performed first. In this example, the additional combat step was created before the additional upkeeps, so the additional upkeeps would happen first. This rule also applies to creating extra turns.

All Will Be One is such a cool card. Ramos was kinda struggling that game and AWBO still had a big impact. I'm so sad I can't put it in my +1/+1 counter deck. It woulda been cool to see Legion Loyalty in action as well. That card is cracked.

I like the idea of tracking turns! Having a good idea of how long your games tend to go can definitely impact your deck-building decisions. I've considered doing something like that, but I just never remember when it actually comes time to play. I think if you're in a situation where a player at the table could kill you during their combat phase and you can meaningfully reduce their life total or remove their blockers during your combat phase, then it makes sense to attack them. This way, they may have to reconsider their attacks so the other two players can't just kill them. So I think, were I in Optimus Prime's position, I'd have also attacked there. It might have even been good to attack Giada and try to convince Ramos to attack her instead of you. It's a tough call, for sure. Also, Angels getting hit with Descend Upon the Sinful is really funny.

That was a speedy one. Animar got right down to business, I guess with Sheoldred 's help. Unnatural Growth + Trample is no joke.

I got to do the Cultivator Colossus + Abundance Combo once and it was excellent. What I didn't realize until I actually pulled it off, is that since Abundance puts the cards on the bottom "in any order", I also got to stack my deck however I wanted.

You could even do your Millennium Calendar tap/untap shenanigans during your upkeep before Seizan's upkeep trigger resolves, in case that matters in a future game. For most activated abilities (i.e. ones that don't specify they can only be activated as a sorcery), you can activate them whenever you have priority. The only steps where players don't receive priority are the untap step and (normally) the cleanup step. But, yeah, drawing your card for turn is a turn-based action that happens before any abilities that trigger in the draw step. So you can cast instant-speed spells and activate abilities between drawing for turn and resolving Teferi's Puzzlebox

I'm definitely not above chipping in at a mana screwed player if I've got effects that trigger on attacks or damage. And if someone kept a sketchy hand and it didn't pay off, that's really on them. Ultimately, I'm of the opinion that Magic is just a game so as long as nobody's being a jerk out-of-game, then we really shouldn't be getting feel bads for any decisions people make in the name of strategy. So, in theory, you shouldn't feel bad for attacking a mana screwed player. In practice, I still feel bad about it and try not to do it without good reason. Haha.

Theres also dalek squadron, a 3 value mono-black dalek that has menace and myriad, Genesis of the Daleks is also worth using, Its a hefty value 6 mono-black enchantment but the first 3 saga counters nets you 3/3 dalek tokens with menace for each lore counter so all up you get 6 from it and the last counter gives a target opponent a choice, They can choose to destroy all daleks in which case you deal dmg equal to their collective power to each opponent or they destroy all non-daleks

I've definitely been the guy that gets 4-5 cards deep into an opponent's series of spells that wins them the game while totally forgetting that I had a counterspell in hand. And I was just playing one deck at the time! So I think it's fine. Plus that was a super cool way to end the game. It was super impressive to burn through two life totals above 50. And you were right about Lightning Axe. Mizzix Mastery lets you cast the spells without paying their mana costs so you'd need to pay any additional costs if you want to cast a spell that has one.

Honestly, if they didn't already make the Transformers cards, I definitely would suggest that you build the alternate commander for the energy deck, Liberty Prime. Energy + Transformers vibe would be perfect.

You should have showcased Mothman from the Fallout series, his mill game is insane. Would like to see a good full play deck with him.

You did Cultivator Colossus correctly. It just keeps going until you choose not to put a land into play. However, it's important to remember that you don't resolve other triggers while you're resolving another spell or ability. So, you won't draw for Aesi or return a land to your hand from Coral Atoll until after you've finished doing all your Cultivator Colossus shenanigans. Then, once you're done resolving Cultivator Colossus's etb trigger, you'll put all your Aesi triggers and the Coral Atoll trigger on the stack. If you're looking for a replacement for Rest in Peace in Go-Shintai, might I suggest Jeskai Ascendancy if you're not already playing it. Since your commander has a tap ability and likes playing noncreature spells, Jeskai Ascendancy could let you use the tap ability multiple times (if you've got the mana for it, I guess). Additionally, you could use the second trigger to put enchantments into your graveyard that you could get back with Go-Shintai so it kinda acts like card draw. And it'd pump your shrine tokens!
