    You need to look up the video with the 'Story of the Unknown Warrior' along with amazing and moving musical accompaniment from HM Royal Marines Band. The Cavell Van didn't pass through Bodiam but went straight from Dover to London Victoria before the procession the following day to Westminster Abbey for the internment.

    Jack the Ripper is a very difficult subject to cover because most just do a video on who they think it was and almost forget the victims. You cover alot of good points and not showing victims photo etc shows great respect as anyone can easily find them on line if they wish to look deeper. Whitechapel has changed so much and not much left from 1888 . I've walk around up there myself and looked on maps to try to find sites etc. I think that The 5 were all JTR and Martha Tabram. I think that alot more of the Whitechapel murder were JTR . Think the police were at a loss and felt to try to calm public order said Mary Kelly the last but I think there were more . Because Kelly was mutilated so badly and her organs layed out etc I don't believe it was a crime of passion by her love . I belive that a man JTR would be outwardly normal Mr Nobody blend into the back ground with knowledge of the area he's your man. Get a map look at where Charles Cross/Lechmere live and worked look at his route to work and The 5 and Martha Tabram . To take even further read the book Cutting point By Christer Holmgren . Good respectfull video great overlays 👍

    • @Tudor_Travels
      @Tudor_Travels Před 17 dny

      Thanks. Yes I wanted to see what Whitechapel and the victims locations looked like now as opposed to making a video about the attacks and the suspects. You make good points. I’ve never considered that the police might have said that Mary Kelly was the last JTR victim just to calm the public, especially since there were other murders after Mary Kelly that could be attributed to JTR.

      Oh wow Vicky. I’d never even heard of Sit John Williams being a suspect. Shows how much I know or rather how little I know. It’s an interesting theory though. I’m personally of a mind that there were several killers and to avoid suspicion they possibly made their killings look like copycat killings. Will we ever find out? I doubt it. I was very interested in the Maybrick connections when it came out. Another possible contender although the “experts” debunk that idea 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Just found your channel, loved it. I only live 6 miles away from Pluckley, and about 5 years ago i used to keep my horses on a farm in Pluckley, now i used to smell burning quite frequently, and being a farm with hay and straw i always looked ,but never saw any signs of a fire either on the farm or surrounding area, but thought nothing of it. Until one morning whilst id just got there and opend the tea room,i looked down the yard and saw a man run outof a barn, with what looked like a rucksack on his back and wearing a woolly hat and all black. I instantly ran down the yard to see if hed done any damage, and were he went. Well long story short , he had completely vanished ,and it was impossible, as the time it took me to run down to were he went behind a row of stables,i would still of seen him on the land. Now a couple of days later whilst telling the owner, he jokingly said " maybe it was the pilot". Now having always been interested in paranormal since a child this sparked my curiosity, so i delved deeper. And apparently a plane crashed somewhere close to this farm, and there have been sightings of a man wandering around, described as wearing black clothes and something on his back. Now the pilot failed to eject ,so sadly died in the crash, and also along with the sightings is also the smell of burning, when no fires can be seen. So was this the pilot i saw, i certainly cant explain were he went. Ive another experience not in Pluckley but a couple of miles up the road, but ill save that for another time. Ive subbede to this channel and your other other ones.thanks for great content.

      Oh yeah you mentioned that I might not catch it at Northiam catch it at the end. I went the wrong way but it was fun seeing two trains at Wittersham 👍

    At Bodiam it is the actual carriage that carried the coffin of the unknown warrior it was built at Ashford railway works, it also carried the coffins of Edith Cavell and Captain Fryatt who were both executed in the First World War.

      Wow that’s good to know. I wasn’t sure if it was a replica. It makes it all that more poignant!

    As a volunteer at the museum you missed the poster for the East Kent Railway which is an original one but has a few mistakes on it. Rolvenden is the depot where they repair the engines.

      I’m also wondering on a second video but this time being a passenger on the train. Not sure it’d make riveting content for a video though. I seem to enjoy standing on the outside near the engine 👍

      I’ll have to investigate the Bluebell railway - I’ve only ever been there once as a background extra for the series Black Mirror. I was filmed as a passenger on the train but being at the station was a buzz 👍

    I absolutely love steam trains. These are so lovely looking and the sounds, you can't beat it. Last time I went on a steam train was for a short journey on the way to the Norfolk broads. Wonderful to see and hear, thanks.

    Just to let you know ,the USAAF was the United States Army Air Force, not the United States of America Air Force as described by Yourself. The United States Air Force (USAF) came into being in 1947 !
