Ok, nice and useful video. I have a question, if I manage to get into the service menu, how do I get out of the service menu correctly?
So helpful and solved the issue. Thx a lot!👏
how do I add my personal photos to the art mode gallery
Terrible review did not even mention Pantene color match on 2024 model that makes art with truest color possible. No genius here geez!
Hi, on Samsung TV 2023 model, can I paid Samsung Smart remote from 2014 model??? Return-Guide buttons simultaneously pressed for few seconds doesn't work. Both buttons work as TV power light flickering when I press them but nothing happens? Any idea?
Is this the 55"? Or what size is it? So you would recommend buying the 2023 since there is no big change? Thank you for your comparison, so helpful :)
Is Samsung LED 138CM QA55LS03BA QLED 2023 or 2022 model? Please reply!
Hi, I’m considering two options for a new 65” TV: the Frame 2023 and the Hisense Canvas. If you were in my position, which one would you choose and why? Both have the same price today. Thank you!
I really really appreciate your support on this please 🙏🏻
Ok. But what if you don’t have that option on your SmartThings app???
How to disable Bluetooth in that menu . Thanks !!
Is this the 32" model that youre showing? I have a 36 inch tv already and its still kinda big for my desk so I plan on getting the 32" of this just because I like the matte, and I have a big window and get alot of sun in my room, I just dont know if the 32" will still ne to big, like Ive tried measuring and marking it out but i still dont know, I think it will
I have a 65” 2024 Frame tv. It’s too small for me sitting 16’ ft away. I’m swapping it for the 85” older model (still matte). It’s $1,500 off so it’s hard to pass on that. Will see next week if I can tell a difference, but if this video shows it’s so hard to see a difference side by side, I doubt I’ll see anything substantial. I can live with off-white for $1,500 off, haha.
So helpful - thank you!!
Thanks for the video. I was hoping you'd go through the technical features of both the TVs and point out key differences. Do both of them support Dolby Atmos ?
Hi, thanks for the helpful video. 2 questions though : exact same path for installation on a wall ? possible to get the teck frame on 2024 model ? Great thanks !
I notice the 2024 tv does have “ app” icon on the home menu screen. How do you access the apps to find and download ?
I would like to know the answer to this question too. Is there an apps section for downloading apps on the 2024 Frame TV?
Samsung QE43LS03B "The Frame" 4k Smart QLED TV. ..question can you tell me if this tv that i am looking to buy is it 2023 or 2024 model...as i dont know how to tell and be sure what i am purchasing...thanks
LS03B is a 2022/2023 model. The 2024 will be LS03D.
If I pay for the annual membership how many pics do I get. I live in Canada.
There are thousands of pieces of art in the art store... i think like 2500 ish. I would assume it's the same for Canada as the US, I don't see any reason why it would be different.
Where are the speakers on the TV? Are they in the controller box?
No, they are behind the panel. On the Frame they are directed down... you should see grids that run along the bottom of the tv, two of them are for the speakers.
So TV 2022 do not connecting smartthings for inteligent house control?
You can connect the 2022 Frame to smart things and view other connected devices. The 2024 has the hub built in and quick access with the "123" button on the remote.
Hey man. I just ordered the 2024 55' model. How is the contrast on this TV? I mean, I know it's nowhere near Oled or even MiniLed, but are the contrast and dark scenes good enough? Or will I end up with that annoying cloud that I see people complaining about in the latest model? Also, how do you think the image quality compares to other Qled models like the Q70D? Great work, thank you!
I think it's very comparable to the Q70... contrast is ok. The big thing is because this is edge lit it won't have deep, dynamic looking black. Smaller sizes like 43/50/55 should be just fine though. You would def see more dark scene issues and imperfections in the larger sizes. I have the 43" from the video in my office and am happy overall with the picture quality.
@@SamsungSupportGenius Thanks a lot!
The k you for the comparison
Thanks a lot, old model is less then half of the price of new one in my location. This video helped me a lot to make decision, I’ll probably buy old model tomorrow.
Is there a big energy saving différences ? Does it make worth and we see it on the electricity ? Because for now there are hundred of différence with the 2023 model.
No... $$$ difference per year would be very small. I would guess less than $5 per year. TVs in general use very little energy. I think at 5 hours per day watching, the average energy cost is around $30 per year.
Has the old one a 50/60 Hz panel and the new one a 100/120 Hz panel ? I want to use it for my Nintendo Switch .
55" and larger will have 120hz refresh. The smaller sizes (32/43/50) will all be 60hz. This is the same in both versions here.
Are picture settings exact same? More contrast on the 2024 could lead to blacker blacks and blown out highlights. If settings are the same, technically speaking 2023 is a superior display as you’ll get more detail - if you like the picture on the left more, just mess with the picture settings to your satisfaction.
Both of these were calibrated with the Samsung Smart Calibration through the smart things app while they were side/side. I turned off the eco settings as well.
What is the difference between C and CB models(2003)?
Depends on the model... typically C will always mean 2023 launch date. CB usually means there are 2 versions of that TV model. You see it sometimes when they split based on region Mexico/US. If you have a specific instance I can verify :)
@@SamsungSupportGenius I tried to ask in stores-they don’t know,on Samsung site they show the whole number and after C comes B so i guess it’s the same model
@@DaLucaciShow right. In the US you would typically see CA (QN55Q60CAFXZA for example). If you see a CB it means there are 2 versions. In 2023 they made a Q60CB (55/65/75) that was a Walmart exclusive model - Q60CA was the national sku. Nearly identical... the Walmart sku had slightly better dimming software (micro dimming).
really good review, thanks man so far the only one that actually compares based on data/experience. Cheers! A few constructive criticisms: The volume was SUPER low compared to the rest of youtube. The next video deafened me, because I forgot to change the settings back :) I played your video at 1.75 speed. It was very slow otherwise.m The talking speed as well as the setup times. I will base my buying decision off of a lot of the info I found in here! Thanks again!
Thanks for the feedback!! I'm new to this so it really helps :)
Good info
Good review, thank you for putting it together. The salesperson on the store was trying to convince me the 2024 model has many differences, now I know it's not true haha
Thanks for the review! Any idea what the actual energy savings is in art mode on the 24 model vs 22?
Let me look today to see what I can find. My guess is it's not significant. Ill let you know shortly.
so is this TV worth it or not?
I like it, personally. If you are more worried about picture clarity and dynamic image, go with OLED. For a living area or other space where "good" picture is good enough and blending with decor is important the Frame is the best. I would wait for a sale though :)
Nice video! How would you describe the stability of the feet? We want to place the TV on a sideboard with wheels to move it around. Do you think that’s possible or are the arguably small feet to unstable so that the TV might fall down? Thanks!
I think it depends on the size. The feet are stable but at 75" plus they can get a little wobbly. I personally would feel confidant with the 65 and small in that scenario.
samsung smart tv crystal UHD 8 series| TU8000 50 inches when turn on TV, no picture, backlight ok,sound ok blank screen , display problem but after 7-10 minutes it's back to normal. please help me
That does not sound good... The strange part is the picture coming back after 10 minutes. If I had to guess I would say there is an internal hardware issue. Try this... unplug all hdmi's from the TV - next, with the tv on press and hold the power button on the remote until the tv cycles ON - OFF - back ON. Once it comes back on let go. This will cold boot the TV, clearing out short term cache. If it is a bug this would help. Leave the HDMI unplugged and try to replicate the issue with just the TV itself (apps), no hdmi for now. Let me know if still happening and we can try some other resets.

Hi, what about viewing angles ? I know that in 2023 model the picture quality dropped the moment you start looking it from different angles
2024 and 2023 will be identical in this aspect too
its brutal
@@mrpickle23 "brutal" meaning is a very bad quality picture drop in angles or ?
@@immersa8395 viewing angle is poor imo
Do you know. If the bezels of 2023 version works in the 2024 as well?
Yes! The cabinet is the exact same as previous model Frame tv
Thanks for the review! How is the tv quality compared with the U8000? That's a 4 years old model from Samsung I happen to own.
It's tough to compare the picture quality if the frame to other tvs because of the matte finish... i think you'll get better colors and an overall better picture but it may look "softer", not as bright and dynamic as some of the TVs will glossy panels. Overall it's a step up in my opinion.
Is it me or is it a different oneconnect box as well?
Size, shape, chipset and cable the exact same. The Samsung logo is a different color and it does have 2024 software but overall they are very, very close.
Whould you spend an extra 100$ on the 2024?
I guess the $$ difference is subjective. Me personally, yes... the improvements to IP control and updated software are worth $100, yes.
Somehow this TV has really bad advertisment, which means none. I cant even tell if someone can watch TV with this thing? I am however interested in matte TV
The matte is clutch for a bright room.
Hi there! Thanks for your video! Could you please tell me what are the serial or reference of these two tv models?
Yes, these are the (2024) QN43LS03DAFXZA vs (2022/23) QN43LS03BAFXZA
If both of them cost the same, which would you get? LS03B vs LS03D
At the same $$ the LS03D is slightly better... The color, new menu settings and new remote all lean slightly to the LS03D. I also use IP control, which is going to get an update very soon in the LS03D for big improvements.
@@SamsungSupportGenius Do you think the IP improvements will be a software update for the '23 too? I am looking to by a Frame and integrate with home assistant on IP control. I am seeing mixed views on how good the software is for integration over IP so if that is improvings it is interesting, but so is saving 40% on a 23 rather than a 24 :)
@@IanHale-en5dd from what I can tell, no. The IP prorocol lists 2024 models differently than older versions which makes me think they will not update older models. The update is basically a Low Power Mode that keeps the IP server open at all times, even when the TV is turned off. Should make a big improvement in reliability.
@@SamsungSupportGenius great, thanks for the info. I just have to decide if its worth the 40% extra over the 23 model.. probably not!
@@IanHale-en5dd probably not... i agree. The prices will come down, but if looking to buy soon, last year's may be the way to go
I keep saying "QN95" when I should be saying "S95" for the premium OLED w/ one connect box.
Thank you so much for doing this video! It answered a big question I had which was if the 2024 improved the whites in artmode and it seems they did! I struggle on my moms 2023 version to get white to look like pure white, they tend to look grey or too blue even after adjusting.
In terms of picture quality, TV looks and art mode , do you see major improvements? I am looking to buy a 65 inch version for my living room and is currently confused between picking up the older version or waiting for the newer version in my region?
There are marginal gains. If the $$ was the same the 2024 does have a slight advantage. I think for most people the few hundred you will save with the older model is probably the way to go.
@@SamsungSupportGeniuswhat are those differences? Better picture quality? …
@@millicentlarue2020 better colors mostly and the new menu settings allow you to saturate colors a bit more if you like that (it's called "color booster" in the 2024 menu)
The major improvementes I think is about the sound system. In 2024 received a booster and has more power. The others things its equal 2022.
Now, ther are 1000 difernt in price :)
Def doesn't make sense to get the new one if the old is 1k cheaper!
@@SamsungSupportGenius thanks for saving me this money. Now the wife will be happy with new TV in the livingroom. :)
I'd love a quick video of how to upload art to the TV
I'll plan on this for next week!! Thanks for watching :)
Given the 2023 is on clearance at the moment and the 2024 has marginal gains. I'm going to take advantage of the sale and buy the cheaper one!
I agree 100%!! I would save the few hundred $$ and get the 2023. Thanks for watching, much appreciated!
There is no difference in price
@@pkrhrdk looks like they took the previous version off sale and matched them$$. That's actually a good sign the 2024 will go on sale starting next week! I'd bet. They may have also removed the price lock at a local level (not 100% sure on that) so there is a chance you could see better prices on the old models in store, just not on-line.
2024 looks, especially in the art that was shown, like the bright areas are blown out. Guessing it's the camera but the video made it look like it. If the same $$$ 2024 looks better.
