Perth ..Fremantle bohemian city great beaches ,bars….Margaret river major surfing championships .To the south of Perth voted in the top five beaches in the world at number one is Esperance Lucky bay ….turquoise bay to the north .there are plenty of tourism jobs ,work for females too ,by the way women work on the mines too…..agree with you’re version of the city and Perth is spread out …..if you’re coming from overseas Perth is you’re first destination..a stopover is all you require.

Byron Bay sounds like Sun Valley in Idaho or Vale, Colorado where celebrities play during the winter months and buy a second or third home making the housing market unreachable to the middle class human.

So informative about places to visit on east coast Australia. All the places sounds so lively. I would love to visit Australia one day. I hear Australia is quite expensive so I tend to visit developing countries like Southeast Asia because the dollar will go farther but someday I would love to visit Australia.

You guys have a ton of shark attacks as well. I think of sharks when I think of Australia. Probably because of the national news about every single attack that ever occurred.

I was thinking your top-10 Oz was a bit east-coast centric, but at least you explained that at the end. Definately Perth and SW WA around Margaret River to Esperance is worth visiting. The other thing is the Great Ocean Road can be done as 1/2 the road trip to Adelaide, and pick up some attractions nearby like the Barossa Valley wine region too. Ayers rock / Uluru is an iconic Aussie spot too, but very expensive so not good for backpacker budgets.

Bali is a cesspool of corruption, theft , abuse towards tourists by the governor and a putrid grovel of uneducated people who are begging for a chance to join the real world. Biggest user of single use plastics and encouraged by a plethora of tourists who contribute unintentionally to the chaos. I lived there with my family for 16 months. Tourist Bali and real Bali are very different. Tell the truth about the place. Stop lying for likes in a bikini. You contribute to it all and people like you.

I preferred Melbourne to Sydney because of the culture and coffee, and the Great Ocean Road was amazing (watch out for the Cockatoos in Lorne! They are relentless!) ! But my absolute favorite place in Australia is Hobart. Tasmania is GORGEOUS and MONA is the best museum I've ever been to. We also went over to Bruny Island for the day and ate and drank our way around it, as well as to Bonorong to feed the wallabies and admire the Wombats and Devils.

Omg I literally put life on hold for 30mins when I saw this video came out haha. It’s so crazy watching along and knowing I’ve been to at least a quarter of these places already😁😂. The Great Ocean Road has definitely been the absolute highlight of my time here in Aus so far in the 7 months here, I’ve done it twice now and I will be doing it again probably next year. Also hearing Lloyd say “Lorne”, I absolutely love it😂 Melbourne too, you two already know how I feel about Melbs and St. Kilda as well💙. The GC was a huge shock to me, I really liked it but it did take me a solid couple days to warm up to it but it’s so good! You two are absolutely hilarious and so goofy together it’s contagious and that’s great, I was over here dying😂. I wouldn't recommend anyone get fish and chips from Queensland. As an ex Victorian now living in Queensland, I have to say, if you want a true Australian fish and chip experience, then don't bother with QLD fish and chips. They just don't compare.

I live in Sydney and agree that Melbourne is uber cool - everyone dresses well, great pubs, cool bars, lovely markets (The Queen Vic) and excellent coffee and cakes. Adelaide should have got a mention. Also cool. Rundle street (not Rundle mall or Hindley Street). Adelaide oval, The. Festival theatre and the river Torrens. The Barossa Valley. The Adelaide Hills. Central Market.

Aw! I'm from Freo Western Australia, it's the port town, more historical than Perth. Freo is a scruffy, hippie kind of place with great live music venues. It's almost like Western Australia is a destination on its own...so much beauty to see and discover, but the travel distances between places can be vast. So I guess I understand your reservation to recommend it. WA has great Mediterranean weather on the southern coast, fabulous beaches, wine regions, Ningaloo reef, and the amazing tropical north where the red dirt meets the ocean. I love it, it's an awesome place to live. Btw... Melbourne is a cool city to visit but the weather is not so great!

Don’t forget for oldies Port Douglas is a perfect place for seniors in winter time. Port Douglas is less than an hour's drive from Cairns.

As of a few months back Lloyd, now Melbourne is Australia’s biggest city!

This is just the top 10 places that you two know about on the east coast; not all of Australia. ..have you actually seen anything of Tassie or SA or WA (outside Perth) or NT? Very narrow minded in my Aussie opinion. Just focusing on the east coast only is not an accurate representation of the rest.
