Got a few I’ve really enjoyed with bugs: - the Orkin Man (exterminator build): gas em, zap em(blitzer), burn em (nape airstrike) and laze em (back pack). Add something for anti armour and you should be able to handle some breaches on your own. - the Universal Soldier (stalwart, jump pack eruptor, strafing run & orbital; my fave at the moment) a non explosive sidearm gives you greater options. Stally is your pri wpn. Very fast with light armour , and awesome if you use the contours properly with the jet pack. - “My Kit Carries Me” or “the engineer” (HMG emplacement, laser back pack, exo, orbital, arc blitzer) ; basically any tool that isn’t a gun that you can operate to kill bugs for you -the FOO, or Forward Observation Officer (all artillery: orbital, mortar, 120 or 380 mm, eagle or orbital smoke as a defensive tool, w/ Cookout, and high visibility med armour.) This one is tricky, requires understanding of battlefield geometry, but if you can learn to fix the bugs in place using a combo of different fires (smoke, then barrage) you’ll be a force multiplier for your team. Doable without having friendly casualties if you play it right.

The strategy that's always worked for bots, from the beginning, is to draw the enemies out of their bases, and then circle around and invade the bases they chased you out of. Provides some of the best defensive cover on the map in most cases, and lets you finish the objectives easier.

Just tried the laser, not only was it effective but also fun as hell. Can't wait to try the others

The Relay shield, the laser primary and laser cannon are goated against bots. They kill so easily any hulk and by the time one is a bit overheated, the other has cooled down so you can be all match spamming lasers. Believe me, it's the most underrated weapon

Ive personally been having an absolute ball chewing through chaff with HMG/Supply pack with the Patriot Mech and Airstrike on 7-9 difficulty. Mech for rocketing down Shriekers nests from forever far away or rocketing down pairs and trios of chargers and the minigun deletes groups of shriekers. I use the defender for kitting those hunters that get around you, stun grenades to hold a lone charger in place for the HMG or giving you a couple seconds from the hoard to reload the HMG. Keep it on 450 RPM until you need to delete a charger or impaler, switch it to max rpm just for those. Fun note, you can kill an impaler in under a second if you stand in front of them and start firing into the exposed face as soon as they drop the tentacles. You can also snipe the bile sacs out of titans from a good distance and if you can line up the titan perfectly with the airstrike you can hit it directly with 2-3 of the bombs. That combined with HMG into the sacs and open wound in the back from the airstrike will kill it. If possible leave titans to other AT divers but you can absolutely deal with them. Grenade pistol for the bug holes. I like the airstrike over the precision because i can call 3 in quick succession and if i dont need all 3 i can send it back to rearm while i move to the next objective. Note this loadout doesnt do great alone.
