    It’s cool to see a creator focusing on the tactical / team play aspects of the game. Many are doing great weapon / strategem guides and necessary research of game mechanics, but this stuff is equally as important!

    You’ve became my favorite Helldivers 2 content creator. You shed light on good guns, you aren’t afraid to piss on meta shit. And I love the fact you play with randoms, in an uncoordinated and unique setting. Whereas most guys will play with their friends and expect everyone to be as skillful as them.

    13:47 Extraction spawns: from what I know, you are correct. They come from nearest bug holes/fabricator first, if those are clear, edge of the map nearest extraction. HOWEVER, I do believe that, if you have a player within X meters of the edge of the map nearest extraction, they simply will NOT spawn. If you've ever had a REALLY quiet extraction and wondered why, it's probably because all the enemy spawn points were destroyed AND extraction was actually close enough to the edge of the map that being there cancelled the spawns.

    I was digging through my loadout document trying to find a way to dominate against the bots without using the AMR, AC, or Laser Cannon, and I landed on the recoilless for this one. It's an exceptional weapon against the bots, and in my opinion edges out the EAT and Quasar cannon for the best option against heavy armor. I wanted to run the plasma punisher with it again, but didn't want to double up on the same primary in two videos, but the scorcher did the job well. Hope y'all enjoy this showcase of the RR. Give it a shot and let me know how it felt! I hope that these videos can help y'all that have yet to break into the higher difficulties by showing you a solid loadout and demonstrating how to use it.
    Edit: I'll be getting a new mic soon, so hopefully that will make the videos sound a little better!

    You can stop patrols from spawning entirely during extraction if you've killed all the fabs/nests. Have someone stand near the edge of the map where the patrols come in. As long as the team is within 75m of each other (it can be a straight line as long as another player is in the radius who has the next player in their radius, and so on). The game considers them considered all players as 1 unit for the purpose of spawning patrols. This means it will only spawn patrols from one place, but it cannot spawn patrols directly on top of a player. By being near the edge of the map it stops the game from spawning patrols entirely if you can get control of that space. Easier said than done on 9, but it's been a nice tool when maybe the team could use a breather at the end.

    one thing that gets slept on quite a bit is the team reload that some weapons like the Recoiless have, with a team reload the Recoiless has by far the fastest fire rate of any anti-tank weapon

      @CommissarKai  Před 2 měsíci +3

      I'll try and get an example of this in a future video because it is absurdly powerful. It's a little difficult to do with randoms, but I think I have an idea of how to use pings to make it happen.

      Always helps to give first. If you see someone else on your team that is currently using it, grab one yourself (or if they happen to toss their second set) and sidle alongside them when the range is target rich. Same goes for autocannon and Spear.

    Great video, and it touches on something me and my friends have talked about about in this game often. Players seem to not notice what their fellow Helldivers are doing, especially during combat. The number of times I’ve seen a cluster strike get dropped on a breach that’s already contained by a gas strike, for example, is too damn high 😅
    A good diver should always be aware of what is already being handled, and where he can best focus his attention. Teammate pinned down by a tank? Lend some help! That charger just got its butt shot off by your ally? Let it bleed out, turn your rockets towards the bile titan bearing down on your other buddies who are running for the hills.
    Awareness extends beyond simply what is in your crosshairs, Helldivers.

    The recoilless is 100% my go-to support weapon. Super-reliable solution to all heavy armor needs that preserves stratagems for objectives, and a really flashy way to significantly reduce pressure from bot drops with some judicious marksmanship. And on bug planets, it's an "I win" button against Chargers as long as you can keep the chaff off of you long enough to toreador and reload.

  • @davidwashington8127

    i don't know if anyone has said it here yet but another ping tip i discovered a ps5 player using was they repeatedly pinged "follow me" when they found a bunker or 'friendship button' XD and being on voice chat myself i asked out loud if they were at a bunker and they pinged "affirmative" and basically from then on if i saw them ping follow me i knew to either ping "affirmative" or just tell them I'm on my way.
    To me the reason this works better than pinging location is that there isn't a bunker specific ping like it won't ping as a bunker and if you accidentally ping something in the bunker then it'll just pop up as that specific thing you ping.
    Hope this helps

    Great, positive and instructive video, I love it!
    Here's my bit of advice for ya!:
    To interrupt your recoilless rifle's animation, I recommend quick tapping the stratagem call-in button. Its about half a second faster and less cumbersome than weapon switching, especially when you just want to fire back-to-back recoilless like around 15:40!

    the 2 picks II take that are outside the norm is the orbital smoke strike and the eagle 110.
    the smoke let's you escape a bad situation way easier, gives your team cover in a firefight, and really helps in a hot extract. wish it was a bit more consistent with the coverage but I normally take it anyway cause no one else does and I am almost always using it whenever it's off cool-down.
    the Eagle 110 is not as flashy and not as consistent as the basic airstrike, it's aim is questionable sometimes, but when it hits it straight ends tanks, towers, and mobile factories if you hit em several times.

    Great video. Running as a two man team, one is point man and one is support. Point decides the objective and draws aggro, support hangs back and takes out the aggro. One of you will always be in position to cover the other because you both won't get overwhelmed by the same wave of enemies. Gas or napalm strike are good for walling off enemies. And I usually take recoiless for heavies and gatling sentry for trash.

    You might want to consider switching from the Senator to the new D. Eagle 14mm semiautomatic pistol from last month's Polar war bond. It deals slightly less damage per shot, but makes up for it with a better magazine size, better sights, and a faster reload.

    • @CommissarKai
      @CommissarKai  Před 2 měsíci +1

      The D. Eagle is also a great option. I usually prefer the senator, but its purely for the anesthetics and being able to do tricks with it. Functionally, the D. Eagle is probably the better choice!

    I run the same build, and a slight alternate, with the same strategy. You can sub the recoiless with the spear, and when I do that I like to run the grenade pistol in case I need to take out a factory jammer.
    Wide open tundra map I'll pack the spear for popping hulks and turrents from another zip code. More claustrophobic maps, like jungle or forrest and I'll run the recoilless.
    If I'm running the spear I might also sub the orbital railgun for the laser in case I have trouble locking or have multiple hulks to deal with at once.

    • @CommissarKai
      @CommissarKai  Před 2 měsíci +6

      I'll be using it after the patch on Tuesday! I actually already have a game recorded using it with this same loadout, but decided on this game since it was a deathless helldive. My hope is that Arrowhead gives the purifier the medium penetration it's supposed to have (not working currently) in this next patch. If they do, the purifier is going to JUMP to the top of my primaries against the bots. It's effective even now, but it's essentially the plasma punisher with a charge time, more ammo, and longer range.

    • @KaliFortuna
      @KaliFortuna Před 2 měsíci +1

      True, but it doesn’t usually kill the bots it lands on very well. Or at least, devastators seem to survive around half the time, in my experience.
      It’s not useless, but if there’s gonna be more dropships coming (or there’s a tank or hulk or whatever already on the ground), it’s often better to ignore the empty dropship and focus on the next one or the tanks in play.
