Another excellent review. And yeah, it got me to back off of the Envision product just yet. Orcam looks excellent but is also needs development (particularly, as you mentioned, as to battery life). Neither are worth the cost yet. Soon perhaps. Right, Seeing AI looks like the way to go for the time being. Thanks again for an honest detailed appraisal.

I'm autistic, and although I have good vision, I am extremely sensitive to light and once I got to be in a pitch black place taking a guided tour where everyone got a cane and it was meant to simulate the experience of having 100% vision loss. It was a very relieving experience and I feel like blocking out all light porpesefully when needed is gonna be great for me in the longterm

Oh, wow, your story is great, and you’re very strong,, I am impressed, I am so sorry for all your bad experience, I am from Ukraine, and I am totally blind, I lost my vision and 25 years old. No, I am in the US, Tennessee, I would love to learn more about you and your Channel and experience!!! I am here already for nine years,, but I cannot find my place in this life. I lost my vision, because of diabetics, since then years old,, when I was 32 years old, I should go in dialysis and Zamm I got Kidney And pancreas transplants. Well, everything that happens, everything through the best, anyway, I believe so. Thank you for your channel and you’re very smart and interesting person. Do you have Patient Facebook? I am sorry for my grammar mistakes!

I am definitely #9, even though I'm not blind. I can see skin tone, possible cultural heritage/nationality just fine, and I'm legit just as confused as you are as to why people place so much stock on these attributes. It's like I was plopped on a world of aliens where skin tone, your gender affiliation, and cultural heritage is not only everything, but people NEED to know so they can discriminate accordingly. And with pleasure. They will hound you, and hound you, and hound you, and hound you until they get their clear answer. Even on the internet, people are starting to mark themselves with color coded emojis, flags, and other forms of "lingo" with the emoji layout, and if you don't in certain circles, you are held with suspicion. I think deep down, some people don't want to be caught dead benefitting someone who they may have some deep, hard-wired, tribal bias towards, in any way. So of course, a screening is necessary. My brain just doesn't compute, and people will honestly treat you like you're slow, naïve, or lying if you're not on this strange dance and uptake.

I just found your channel. Great job at reviewing all the canes. I personally have several canes depending on what I am doing. I have a no job cane for when I’m needing to do some serious travel. I have a slimline cane from I need some thin to just be out of my way, but need something for identification as well such as at work. And also keep a, folding graphite cane around for when I need some kind of in between the two

I'm on disability but I'm self-employed and work I rent a house to my family and I've been preyed on by men who are healthy who think that they can use my disability as a way to wiggle their way in get a free place to stay moose off of me once I get into my house and once they start dating me they say oh well if you have a house you rent and you must be you know financially well off I'm not well off I'm literally living paycheck to paycheck technically and a little bit of garments and sisters I get is is a sick joke it's not to disabled people like my face for Americans with Disabilities and I require a service dog to help me manage and handle my disability so I can be functional out and about in society and keep it under control and its medical not psychological. However men and women who are normal and not disabled often think that it's an EZ Pass to just claim they want to be in a relationship with somebody that seems disabled feel bad for them but are actually narcissists themselves and then they turn around once they love bomb and they tell you what you want to hear and tell you that they'll treat you right and all this other stuff and that they accept you for who you are and your disability and that could be further from the truth because what they do is they wiggle their way into your life and they want to try to mooch off of you anyway they can they don't want to pay for their own expenses when they're able to actually get their foot into the door of your house or condo wherever they think they can move in and they don't have to pay a single time while living with you and mooching off of you and not having to pay any utility bills and tell you that you should just be grateful that they're in your life when they're doing nothing to help you out their toxic they criticize suddenly you at every turn nothing is ever good enough the whole love and affection and relationship things that are critical in a relationship over your head and say you should just be grateful that they're living with you but it's your place. And this is something I've ran into not once but twice where men had taken advantage of my kindness my wanted to be in a healthy relationship and literally a year in I got to see them for who they were and they had no intention to marry me to be seriously in a relationship with me they were taking advantage of me thinking that I wouldn't throw him out of my house or I would call off the relationship because they didn't care about me and they said well she's disabled we can just take advantage of her and she's not going to say anything or do anything about it because she's disabled and people like that who Prey Upon disabled people are sick twisted individuals I think we're just going to let them do this and continue to abuse and verbally abused and emotionally abused and physically abused us and we're going to put up with it because what we're desperate enough because we're disabled and it's hard enough to find somebody who will accept us for Who We Are wrong. And unfortunately this happened to me twice now I have cptsd because of it on top of my medical chronic condition that I have and I find it very difficult now to even date cuz I get sick to my stomach and I feel like I'm going to be sick because I don't trust men and if they don't have an ulterior motive when they want to go out and meet me and date me and see that I have a service dog I don't trust that they're going to try to take advantage of my disability to try to get things from me that they don't want to get themselves like a place to stay and that everything that we do on a so-called date I would have to pay out because I should be grateful to have them in my company I should be grateful that they're interested supposedly in me when they're clearly not and they're not serious because they're just using me until they can reach out to somebody else anything because disabled people are vulnerable in their mind we're going to put up with it and this is something I and other handlers with disabilities who have a service dog have had to deal with not once but multiple times by healthy individuals and it gives me fear than to get back out in trying to date again cuz I'm going to have to run into the same nonsense again and I can't afford to have PTSD on a date because of the traumatic experiences I went through with two guys pulling the stunts and yeah they were healthy individuals versus me who's not but this is how people pray on disabled people who do you want to be in a healthy relationship get your happy ending and think that we're just going to sit up and put up with it and it's unacceptable and this has to stop inner Society in it in the dating scene towards disabled people it's unacceptable healthy people pulling these sons and not seriously looking to date somebody who's disabled that don't go out with us and waste our time

There’s lots of different ways depending on personal preference. I prefer typing passwords using a keyboard as I have the layout memorized. Often I also use password autofill so I don’t need to type anything in especially on mobile. I’ll also use the braille keyboard on mobile as I find that more reliable than trying to type using the virtual keyboard.
