Tommy Burns, was a top fella even the Glasgow Rangers fans like myself thought so, he passed away far to soon. But when all is said and done Tommy got his dream to play for and manage Glasgow Celtic..a very respected man in Scottish football....if not the world...he can rest in peace knowing that ...❤❤❤❤❤

Never got to see Tommy Burns play for Celtic . But I know he was a legend in so many ways . A true gentleman , a great footballer . But most of all a wonderful human being . As an Englishman . I have a devoted love for Celtic football club . And I have it because of people like Tommy . RIP Legend .

I remember this like it was yesterday, apart from the final that is wiped from my memory. One things clear to me watching these clips, after the recent nonsense, the Green Brigade has brought a little bit of atmosphere to league games and ruined the atmosphere at big games.
Oh and 7years with Larsson was unbelievable,it was so good I never renewed my season book ever again, never see it again, SIMPLE

Celtic not for the first time underestimated the semi final opponents but deservedly reached the final which they would have won but for Bobo's red card. Porto had run out of steam in the final twenty minutes. The present Celtic team are a team of midgets in comparison to O'Neill's big strong physical side who played some great football. Henrik a different class.
Unless you're 2011 Barcelona, pace, strength and height will usually win. The English teams are all winning this year with big, strong, athletic teams and Celtic are looking like dwarves.

O my dear God I am so glad I was alive for moments like this AND 2 rugby grand slams...sometimes it is pure ecstasy being Scottish ....
As a Rangers fans I have huge admiration for Paul McStay, he was very unfortunate to be playing with a Celtic side against that unbelievable 9 in a row era Rangers side, John Collins moved abroad and to the Premier League and there is no doubt McStay could have done the same, there were Italian clubs sniffing about for him and his style of play would have been well suited for Serie A back then. It doesn't happen a lot nowadays when guys stay at clubs all their days, obviously but McStay stayed for the whole of his career even though the club were struggling for large periods of that because he loved the club and he almost stayed long enough to come out the other end, if he had stayed on another season he could have done what John Greig had done and won titles either side of a 9 in a row by their greatest rivals. Brilliant for his nation as well. Not many videos would pop up for a Celtic player that I would watch but I'm 20mins in and haven't turned off yet, think that says a lot. Much respect!
