All thanks to Alexander and his peers. I wish we had more, but we are looking till this day where his stories connect to a precise and much more definite truth. Nobody lived, and will ever live like Alexander The Great did.

Vangelis did so much for me with his music thoughout my life. There has never been a time when I didn't listen to his music and many times it's his music I reach for. He was a gift for all of us, we're lucky that he existed.

An all-too-often overlooked masterpiece of 21st century cinema. It feels like the final say on the western genre and despite being a period piece, it’s examination of celebrity worship and obsession feels increasingly relevant as the years go by. Casey Affleck has had a lot of amazing moments in his career but this performance is by far my favourite and he plays off Brad Pitt so well. The debate at the Oscar’s during this time was between There Will Be Blood & No Country for Old Men but this movie blows both of them out of the water. Andrew Dominik is such powerhouse of a director and all four of his movies are the highest form of cinema to me. Truly a director who strives for nothing less than perfection in all aspects of the filmmaking process.
