Unless you're a staunch Catholic nutter, STAY AWAY from Seville during EASTER. We visited here about 8 years ago and were horrified that on each night, we couldn't get back to our hotel room. That's because huge crowds of (often drunk) 'pilgrims' were blocking the narrow streets with their silly marches and rituals. They usually carried large ugly pasos, kind of like parade floats, depicting some type of biblical event. Authorities had road blocks erected all over the place from about 6 pm until around 11 pm - 12 midnight. And if you get claustrophobic, this IS NOT FOR YOU!!! We had a much more enjoyable time in Granada, Barcelona and a beautiful little town called Ronda.

I like Thailand because of its natural beauty. But I don't value the people here. I learned a lot of bad things about their culture. They are superficial, dishonest, greedy , arrogant and manipulative. They only want foreign money. For some reason They know that tourism is important in Thailand. But they still refuse to study Western languages. They will not forgive poor Thai pronunciations, they have no idea how hard their language is. don't go to Thailand for socializing, it's a waste of time. Unless you're a masochist.

I was in Kotor 2023 August with my partner, we spend 4 days together and I spent 2 days by myself. I would say this, please rent a car!!! I can not how important it is to rent a vehicle. The taxi charges 90 euros from Podgorica airport and usually people land there instead of Tivat. To visit Budva, Sveti Stefan and Perast you have to own a car or else you will lose a lot of time. The busses are a joke, I baught a ticket for 8 euros for a bus to go to Podgorica airport and I planned to be there 2-3 hours early to meet with my girlfriend. It turned out they decided to go to every city. Most of the people in bus was pissed. You also have to take a taxi in Podgorica so it adds up to around 23-25 euros. The best place to swim in Kotor is Bianco beach bar. It is fairly priced and secluded. You enter the water by stairs but there is no sand on the beach anyway. There is another one closer to the town center but it is overpriced. There is a free one as well but the pebbles are too uncomfortable and you have to lay on the sand unless you pay extra. Also to eat there is a place called Konoba Timun which has great lamb chops and calamari. To go to a fancier place visit Tivat marina! We dine in at One, it is a restaurant beside the marina. We loved the food and the atmosphere and as a Canadian I can say that it was pretty cheap. Unfortunately we didn't had enough time to go up to the mountain, also my partner is a bit lazy lol, so these were my experiences. You will see a lot of Airbnb posts by Marija and she is an owner of a travel agency. She arranges everything if you want her to, and it is probably better to do so. She also sent us a catalogue for these spots and activities to do. Kotor is a nice place but not a great place. Especially if you are from a country with great beaches, I am Turkish so literally the whole middle east russia and europe comes to our coasts. I hope I helped out a bit. I would suggest to stay in a hotel to be honest with you. We wanted to cook so thats why we got an airbnb. Kotor is a nice stop in your europe journey especially if you have energy to go to Budva and Sveti Stefan unfortunately me and my partner decided to have a relaxing vacay so we didn't went to other places within the country. Make sure to have a translater app as well it is hard to communicate in english outside of the castle.
