Describes the history and performance of Plymouth Hemi Road Runners. I was lucky enough to be the first to drive a 1969 Hemi Road Runner (4 speed) after brought out of storage after over 25 years. After working for a while to get it running, it returned to life with no smoke and gained strength by the minute as it loosened up. You could feel the heritage returning.

What happened to Charly McClain?
Ls1 highly underrated those hp/tq numbers are way off
Feminists HATE song lyrics like this.
Wagner was superb engineer. I worked at pontiac headquarters cleaning offices. I was a kid back than. I know for a fact John DeLorean was the first one in his office and last one to leave As general manager of pontiac. Him and Wagner modified a pontiac le man's on the wash rack..lifting vehicle up in the air to identify stock GM parts of the shelf to make pontiac le man's the .monster on Woodward Ave. It became the GTO or the street goat. Winning street races everywhere. The Way DeLorean and Wagner created the Le Man with stock parts allowed them to circumvent the GM upper brass who had an Erick to prevent any race cars in the lineup. Just pure genius. These two men rolled up their sleeves on a lift wash rack and created a winning product for GM. The GTO. Gran Tourisimo Omligato
13.8 for the pinnacle of boomer generation. todays hatchbacks would walk away from it. weak boomers
I had both 02 Firebird WS6 and 01 Camaro SS. The Firebird was superior in almost every way. The quality was truly better, especially the interior. It’s like Chevy put in zero effort and Pontiac went as far as to add round AC vents, much better looking HVAC control display, red interior lighting vs the SS’s piss yellow, nicer seats, higher quality materials and leather, much nicer gauges, even the shift display looked nicer. The styling was better IMO too but mine didn’t have those stripes, which is what puts the car on this episode over the top. They look way better without decals all over the place.
Tanya is timeless
Lucky Son of a Gun 👍🏽

Beautiful song and a beautiful voice. Ramya Tucker is wonderful ❤
Taylor Smith has the talent that matches that. My dog can sing also. But at least the dog is cute when she tries.
I'd forgotten how much I like this song & this video
I have a question for anyone with some info. I have a print that I had framed in the mid 90's or so. Its a Jim Wangers signed Ace Wilsons Royal Pontiac with a red 1964 GTO and a blue and white 69 Royal Bobcat GTO, only 1000 prints made...I can't find any of these online. Just wondering what this might be worth?
You just sent this to me. Thanks , Tanya
Sorry, it may be the fastest recorded by those guys. It’s not the first street car however, the first street car is the Chevrolet Corvette back in 1988 when Callaway put his twin turbos on a stock, Corvette drove it all the way up to the track went 254 mph and drove it all the way homestill 225 miles an hour back in 2001 cars today. Can’t go that fast. These guys are awesome with their Corvettes.
The Sledgehammer was a one off. John L sold these TTC5s to who ever wanted one. But the "regular" Callaways were damn good.... With a warranty.
My dad played for Tanya in the late 80s/ early 90s, and I’m in this video, along with my older brother. I’m the kid in white shirt and shorts pointing at the tire swing @ 0:31, and my brother is the blonde haired kid running down the hill with the mandolin case @ 0:22. My dad is the mandolin player wearing the overalls @ 1:23.
I Saw her at the Calhoun music Land in 93
Love that ride, had a 64 and 71 but never lucky enough to have a 70 , love that vehicle
That was my favorite ride of all
I''m calling BS on the 500hp figure. Get this thing on a modern chassis dyno and I bet it would struggle to post 300.
I believe the guy in the video is the father of Tanya's two children
When country was country.
Very true.
Amen
I really love her voice ❤
"And please don't crush 'em, restore 'em" Goosebumps 😍 Pontiac might be gone, but not forgotten
Shes Awesome🥰
This song has so much warmth and beauty to it, almost gospel like.
