another thing for welcome to Rosas: there's a line that goes "When you turn eighteen,-you get to give your wish in a ceremony" you have NO idea how mad this makes me. the perfect rhyme is right there they even hinted at it ON THE SCREEN. don't you think "When you turn eighteen- you get to give your wish to the king" sounds better?

I think people forget that Disney is for kids and not for adults to judge. They’re just trying to make lyrics for kids to remember.

I've never watched Wish, but I'm actually obsessed with At All Costs because I headcannon it's a love song even though I know it's not. I've heard a lot of crap songs from this movie but I actually am in love with that one.

So stranger things season 4 felt…bad. It just felt rushed. The dialogue between the characters, not only these two, but all of them, just felt like trailer lines. My mom and myself actually traded off writing duties a lot as we could blatantly tell what was going to be said, word for word. “This could mean the end of the world” etc etc etc Max, there was a previous character where we knew her backstory and we had something to grab on to that we knew. Mainly this is the character Sadie Sink plays (watch The Whale, if you haven’t already) so we understood her. Eddie was the new lovable character, so they basically had to shoehorn him into it. In retrospect, it felt like he was a scapegoat/side quest character that was put in place to take up screen time for the other characters, while they focused on Max. If his scenes were taken out, nothing would really be changed, as again, the focus was Max. You could cut it in half and have the same story, while also being tighter. Overall your analysis is spot on with good examples to back it up, and don’t be afraid of long form media. You can make a 5 hour long review. As long as you explain yourself like you do here, you really shouldn’t have any issue. Mauler uploads multi hour reviews, not even including EFAP. Great job!

I honestly think the only song in this movie that works is At All Costs. There are some iffy lyrics and it's 100% written as a love song when it's not in the context of the movie, but the chorus is really nice and the harmonies sound really good. I guess This Wish is fine too. Again, the lyrics aren't great, but it's got a nice melody.

Not to mention 92% of the movie was music 😔

OK, just going to put it out there. What a sad review and even sadder tinsel negative reviews. If you don't enjoy, just move on with your life, it's so stupid to fall out about any of this, BUT..just enjoy the film

Its interesting how you describe William Afton as a tragic character in the game lore, because that is not the case as far as I know. Sure his kids get killed by his own inventions, but we never really get a perspective in how he feels about that, we barely get any actual characterization of him in the games, as most of his appearances are either as an almost not talking animatronic or a pixel sprite. The only times I recall we actually hear him are at the beginning of SL or when he talks during 6. I feel like you mightve tried to brush up on the game lore and came across a very headcanonned telling of Afton's story.

About "summon" not being a noun... It actually can be! The word summon can be used to describe a being that is summoned through some sort of magic. Granted, its usage in this form is kinda recent in the grand scheme of things, but it *can* actually work. Still doesn't mean that the song's any good, though. It's a shame, because it sounds like Chris Pine put effort into singing it as best as he could.

I'm a little late but wish should have been what it was up until Magnifico used that cursed magic book thingy. Then, the main cast should learn about this information and try to save him. (Wish would be still crap but it would be better than it is in my opinion.)

I know nothing about music, but when I watched the movie I was wondering how the voice actors managed to sing all those songs. They are so hard to listen to because well perhaps the beats are all over the place.
