Loved this video! Always enjoy watching you draw (very envious of your talent). In 2022 I received an iPad as a gift. Knowing nothing about digital art or Procreate I searched CZcams for information and I stumbled upon your channel. I am so glad I did. I have drawn along with many of your videos and that taught me more than I could have imagined. After months of CZcams "tutorials" I was able to write and illustrate my first three children's books with a fourth on the way. Thank you so very much for your channel. I just started to learn digital art, recently bought my first iPad with it's pencil, go to youtube and searched for procreate tutorial and found this channel, however, when I try to draw I can't seem to getting used to drawing on a glass screen, its just too slippery, I'm not using a matte/paperlike screen protector because I don't want to decrease the screen's sharpness, any idea or suggestion to overcome this issue? because I saw that you probably didn't use matte/paperlike screen protector either. Anyway nice artwork!

I liked this format, and enjoyed hearing about your thought processes. As someone who started drawing and painting before digital graphics, I really appreciate being able to experiment by using layers, turning them on and off, moving and scaling elements and adjusting colors as I go along rather than having to envision the final product and working towards that. For someone with a perfectionist tendency, this is so freeing! I really appreciate all that I’ve picked up from your tutorials, Genevieve! Thanks!!

This was so much fun to watch! I am nerd when it comes to the process of creating. I love it! I have learned so much from you. I am drawing things now I never thought I would because of the way you break things down and start with shapes. I love the drawing exercise quizzes you came out with, I think finding the drawing in the messy shapes was my favorite! I would like to add I am going into nursing school soon and before I do that I have to take an anatomy class. I am dyslexic and memorizing things??!! Panic! So I decided in order to help me through that, I am going to draw everything (and who knows maybe make some fun art out of it?). Drawing really helps me learn, so thank you for all you do!

Hi, I'm Shree from India...👋 I've been drawing from a really young age, but I've never been consistent in learning and developing my skills. I just drew when and how I wanted. It's been two years since I'm dipping into digital art as well... and I have been watching your tutorials since then. Due to circumstances, I've had huge gaps in the past in my practicing process... Anyway, what I'm rambling about and trying to say is that your videos have helped me a lot. So... Thank you... 😊 While I totally agree with you about being intuitive and carefree (messy is good word in this scenario) when illustrating, I also like the organized way you teach us because, when I have an idea, my head becomes so convoluted that that makes me paralyzed. So, your step by step "recipes" helped me organize my thoughts, and then I changed it, as you said in this video. I guess it depends on the artist and what works for them. Through trial and error, finding your own process... finding a balance between messy and organized... I'm sorry that I didn't comment before. I don't comment anywhere. I don't like to talk much, most days... just lazy I think. But this year, I've decided to be consistent, vocal, and more engaged (?)... but it's a long journey with lots of lows (for me) and some highs, and I am grateful that there's a good artist/person like you who I can look up to... 😊 So... thank you for making fun videos💙 (And... I don't know if I am doing something wrong but the hair shadow thing doesn't work like yours it turns blue and then the color of the entire drawing change instead of the blop that I selected

Hello, I want to print children book independently. Could you please tell me about the settings at the beginning of procreate. The size, resolution is 300, and the color is CMYK. After the drawing is completed, I want to put it into Adobe Indesign. I have tried converting it to PSD, JPEG, PNG and TIFF in procreate and sending it via email. Then opened it on my computer and put it into Indesign, but the resolution of the file will be lower than 300, the printing house told me it must be 300 resolution. I also want to know if there will be any color difference when the file is transferred from procreate to Indesign? How can this be checked? I would like to ask if there is a tutorial on the children book file production process from procreate to Indesign. I am willing to pay to learn from you. thank you.
