Let's draw a cute monster in a small glass bottle!
I'll be drawing little blob in a terrarium, but this tutorial is entirely customizable, so you could just as easily draw a monster in a completely different environment (winter wonderland, magical forest, etc.)

Itâs not working for me. It wonât let me add download them to procreate
After 6 hours of drawing and 50 layers I have never been more proud in myself. There was so many times I wanted to give up but I didn't and I pushed through and I love it. I didn't follow along most of the time because it was to hard so I found a way around and I think that it looks amazing. I am thankful that you made a tutorial and I am also thankful that I didn't give up. This really taught me to trust the process. Thank you

My monster is sort of a pastel purple. This was so fun! I love these tutorials as I am just starting with procreate. These help me learn a lot and give me a huge confidence boost because I can look at these cute drawings and say "oh my! I made that!!!"

Hi Gen! I've been silently following you and your amazing tutorials for a while. I want to create a masterpiece of my own in originality but I just cannot think of "how". How do you come up with all of these cute and amazing designs? I definitely appreciate your helpful videos and love to see more coming!
I might not be the artist in the video but I actually have some tips for you (if you donât mind).
Humans are incapable of creating brand new things from the top of their heads, we need inspiration from different things in order to create something new. My advice to you is to collect things that inspire you and create a board. For me I go to Pinterest and gather a bunch of things that inspire me. Then when I start to draw, I take those elements and mesh them together to create something new.

Genevieve , I had the best time doing this tutorial. Thank you so much. My Monster is Pastel Pink, well it started off as pastel pink and ended up multi color lol. When you introduced me to the Hue filter I kinda went crazy with the colors. Had a blast doing it though. I just bought your Illustration , Big brush, and Inking-Stippling-Texture Bundles and I absolutely love them all. Your blenders are to die for too. I love them. I would love to attend your illustration course. I tend to always follow the tutorial the first time around, then later try to personalize it more I went with a color pallet from a tutorial of another lesson I have done that had lots of blues and greens. My creature color ended up being 2f5a6a a sort of middle of pallet drk blue grey . Big brush bundle I think looks cool
