I've worked as a PTA for years and I've always wondered why PTs weren't using US, especially after hearing about DCs using it here and there. I'm going to PT school now and RMSK is one of my future goals. Thank you for this conversation! And for your excellent advocacy!

Is there any particular reason these aren’t posted on major podcast platforms? I’m a current DPT student and many of my fellow classmates and I share a love for this content but also frustration regarding its inaccessibility on major audio-based platforms

Uk physiotherapist (nhs) sent me to have my foot scanned. To which I discovered I have a bony spur on the heel, as well as another thing they were scanning the top of my foot foot. (very thorough job by (nhs) scanning department. Once the results were in. Physio was able to prescribe course of exercise treatment. Which I’m currently on for the next eight weeks to then go back, to see how I’m getting on. I was surprised I was able to get a physio available just by calling my GP surgery explaining to a receptionist my concerns. I was also surprised he sent me for a scan when he saw me. I’m not complaining. Thought you’d like to know. Out of interest. This video popped up in my feed so I’ve started to watch it… 3min into it now.

I agree with just about everything that was said but I feel that a huge treat to our profession is education cost. Debt of 150000-250000 is depressing for young therapist. Theses PT are working 2-3 jobs to make rent and pay off dept. This leads to burn out and disgust being a PT. Is any one talking about the cost issue of being a PT?
