🌟 Meet Lena:
Lena joined HeliService after working as a ship broker in the shipping industry. The Dispatch Department is the single point of contact for customers, reachable 24/7. As the Deputy Team Leader Dispatch Flight Operations, Lena's duties include coordinating with various departments, scheduling pilots, and checking weather conditions, among many others. Her role demands strong communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to handle stress effectively.
🌟 Meet Kai:
Kai started his journey at HeliService at the age of 18, right at the beginning of our first offshore wind contract. Over the past decade, he has seen significant growth within the company, from starting with two containers on the ground to managing multiple helicopters. As the Team Leader Dispatch Flight Operations, Kai's responsibilities include handling dangerous goods, customs, flight preparation, and being the first contact for all customer inquiries, among many others. His role requires multitasking, mathematical skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities.
📈 Growth and Development:
Both Lena and Kai started as Dispatchers and have since advanced in their careers. Lena is now the Deputy Team Leader Dispatch Flight Operations, and Kai has become the Team Leader Dispatch Flight Operations. Their stories highlight the growth opportunities available at HeliService and the importance of dedication and skill in achieving career success.
