Just bought the al-4. These don't lie. If it's a crappy mix/master, ohhh you will know. Great for vocal,jazz, classical...Metal? If it's a well recorded track then yes. Heard some Paleface Swiss through them and surprisingly slammed. These are not meant to be played loud. They shine at around 65 to 75db. Thank You Lii Song!

May be just me..... but the bass is not punchy and sound stage is not good.

Unfortunately you have only one real driver: F18. That's not you (neither F..x nor T..g nor W..r nor S..o have more than 1.5 models), this is a dynamic driver limitation. Especially a full range one. But.. People who agree with me won't see this vid with 350/pair speakers.

These cost slightly more than Lii Song's F6S, which I currently own and use. They don't sound better than the F6S.

Sounds very sibilant to me. Presumably distortion from the whizzer cone (unless the track is sibilant).

I really like this song. I will try to find the cd in France. I got a friend of mine who want to create a ufo hifi system. He hesitates between the lii silver 10 origin and the glory. He prefers the look of the glory but those are slightly out of his budget. Could you tell me more about the differences between the origin model and the glory one ?
