If I wanted to upgrade the drivers in this cabinet, what would you suggest

You can't. I bought a pair to do just that (I have a relatively small space and really liked the Art Deco style cabinet design. None of the other drivers (Fast 6, Silver 6 or Crystal 6) will fit. They are all larger in diameter.
