My friend has won 3 store championships in a row with Palp Red. It's a great list. I got 2nd with Vader Blue.

Never ever should Vador be the best deck in the meta lol In my opinion, he just gets recked by decks that play Relentless (so Krennic, Iden, Palp, Boba that play Relentless in the sideboard) and it doesn't do well against Aggro compared to what you claim because there comes a time where you don't have enough resources to kill everything and with the leader coming so late, you get swarmed. Also, I feel like your lack of appreciation for Krennic is due to you not having tried him. Most good players consider him better then Iden when paired with Green. Coming on 5 is game changing and gives access to ECL battalion which is amazing and his effect is more useful then people think.

Is Leia red better than krennic Green, which won a championship? You can say that Iden is better than krennic, but put him on C tier and your favorite Leia red on B tier doesn't make sense at all. I don't agree with the list.

this deck might fall short to faster decks like leia or sabine, with low costing units it be everything you can do to survive entail late game. plus with fewer units and more event cards you wont have any blocks up you might have to make some cuts for sentinel, along with cutting event cards that cost you 2 more to cast due to color differences.

healthiest meta I've seen in a TCG. I'd put Vader Blue more on the low side of S tier. If you know how to play against it by stringing out your threats it's not as good.

Iden all the way. She heals pretty much every turn and handles threats well…also Vigilance for 4 is nuts. With SOTG coming she will also get a couple more nice Sentinels as well.

That's easy to answer. In terms of monetary investment, and with the new set soon to be available: Boba Vigilance now has a reason to be played over other control versions, without a doubt. Triple Dark Raid is broken when it brings an Avenger prepared with 7 resources. Literally, effects that trigger at the same time as when it attacks can also be reused, which is brutal for Reinforcement Walker in Command decks. It's more of a late-game card when you get the most out of it, but it produces an absurd tempo advantage.

Rivals fall is meh in anything but limited. In Premier if you play a deck that needs a six cost removal you can wait until 8 and slb.

I actually think that Krennic Green is one of the best decks in the current meta. A blue villian leader who can run a ECL base with a deploy at 5 is soooo good. Bobas are just an easy snack and you even have good options against control. I think he is overlooked and should be higher than Iden. A deploy on 5 has so much good plays with Steadfast, Hask, Overwhelming Barrage.

This is a great (or disappointing) example of the issue with the game currently ... The game doesn't currently allow you to go wide efficiently and the removal is too prevalent. We need better ways to play multiple units to avoid the 1 for 1 trades.

Great videos and guides but the thing that annoyed me is the fact you tell us about sideboards but you never say what your taking out of the deck with what your putting in

You could run At-At suppressor after a superlaser blast or just run suppressor. It gets you the innitiative and a meaty 8 smack

With vigilance being so expensive among other cards in the deck I would love a video on vader blue on a budget!

With ZERO product availability in my area, the game is dying. We have about 6 regular players who own enough cards to play the same decks week after week. With summer we will lose a few more people There is no real way to bring a new player into the game as they cannot get any of the staple cards without going online and paying hundreds of dollars. The expansion looks like it is going to be fun but at this point I do not expect my local game store to get enough product to run a prerelease and then have maybe a box of boosters available for retail.

I'm actually worried about the removal between sets one and two..Blue isn't fun to play or play against..(Imo) hope the game can survive these blue decks

Just took down a store showdown with Thrawn Blue. Took down several decks that lost to Iden Blue. Could have just been poor play, but in general, I think you're underestimating his exhaust ability to stall out until you get hard removal and bounty hunter guild to get more vigilance plays per game when you need extra healing or mill. I took down Vader Red both in swiss and in the finals, and 2 of those games came down to vigilance milling and healing. I think Boba is an interesting option too, but at 6, I'd rather have BHG than Firespray in a hard control deck. Bringing back either removal or vigilance is incredibly good.

Drop Ig 88 late game with a couple raid dudes ready and play a rallying cry and tthen talk to me about C tier.

Jyn is the midrange version of Sabine/Leia. You normally wont use the leader ability unless youre mtached with aggro/tempo. Cassian is Sabine without base ping but with occasional draw. Probably the best combo is yellow base. When playing Cassian, NEVER use its ability unless you have a spare resource. Deploys at round5 with Saboteur ability which is great for endgame base pounding using the yellow damage buffs and wing leader/fleet lieu. Hera is great with Jedi synergy so blue base fits perfectly. Yoda, Ezra, Kanan, Luke, Obi-wan, heck even Whills. Thats a lot of target for lightsabers, devotion, and other force cards. And since its blue she has access to removal cards to deal with pesky units. IG88 is a weenie deck. I find success with IG Green with trooper synergy. Those 2/1 3/1 4/1 red/green cheap units work wonder. Dont deploy it until you could attach upgrade buffs to it like lightsaber and academy training to get it out of open fire and takedown range. Chances are your opponents will constantly pass with resource or attack remaining to ambush or play removal on IG as soon as you deploy it. So dont deploy and just take initiative to forfeit the rest of their turn. Do that each round and theyre gonna have 3 unused resources or 4-power attack everytime while you get to do everything on your turn. Never underestimate the threat of leader deployment. Its similar to Palpatine leader, you probably wont deploy it since there's no worth it target for stealing an enemy unit. The threat of deploying Palpatine prevent your opponent from playing big units knowing you could steal it after playing it.

I’ll add my 2 cents about Tarkin. The hardest thing about playing him is that he requires units. Most decks will trade/kill units (since no suprise to anyone that is how you win the game). And so you tend to run into the issue that your units are removed before they can have a huge impact on the board. 2nd if a player knows how to play against tarkin. They will just wipe the units off the board otherwise they become to big and have to take an unfavorable trade or use a strong removal. Tips I have for ppl looking to make tarkin successful: 1) sometimes it’s best not to buff units 2) don’t forget on turn 4(when you have 5 resources) you can activate ability and then deploy for adding 2nd xp in 1 turn 3) Keep track of opponents available resources as a resource less opponent means you can safely buff or deploy units

I agree with almost everything except Iden. I play Leia Red and wiped the floor with her twice in two showdown matchups.

Thrawn is A tier honestly, I played against one that just body's everybody.

Grabd Inquisitor is weaker himself because his ability is so good. It definitely works well imo

Jyn should be D- tier. She is absolutely terrible. Krenic is also far better than Chirut. Otherwise solid list.
