As per the rulebook, when ANY card enters any play area from anywhere, including resources, it automatically exhausts. That's why Superlaser Technician tells you to ready it when it becomes a resource. so Hunter would give you an exhausted resource.
That's kind of why I wanted to point out the disctinction between that and something like Han's ability. Good callout.
There is the small chance they didn't have enough space but not counting on it
Tech has pretty good synergy with hunter actually. Of course they both want you to play a very slow control deck and if that doesn't come together you don't really want to play them but hunter gets the top card of your deck in as a rescource that you could potentially immediately smuggle with tech (+3 rescources is expensive for sure) so you effectively have access to way more cards with tech in play which in a control deck with losts of imoactful spells and minions can actually be pretty strong. Like finding the perfect out (which you control deck should contain) for any situation will just be more consistent in a lot of longer games because the hinter rescource being a card from your deck. Granted all of this is horribly slow and expensive but there is certainly some synergy that has alot of clutch potential there

Echo would(should? depends on the ruling, the official database doesn't have it up yet) work with leader units. Leia, Han, Luke, Chewie, Sabine. That would be cool.
I imagine so, discard Sabine unit put two experience on Sabine leader would be a nasty curve, as they both come down turn 3, crazy.

Might not be giving enough credit to the idea that Hunter leader ability allows you add 2 cards to you hand each turn instead of netting 1 after resourcing.
One of which MUST be something that is unique and already in play, not exactly something I am excited about.
Another problem hunter has is he does nothing in twin suns. I think that format will become a larger part of the discussion next set as ppl will have a more fleshed out card pool to build decks with and this leader just doesn't get to be in the running for that format at all.
Would love for you to really do a deep dive into Tech. I honestly think he's being UNDERestimated lol. He reinforces the playstyle that Heroic outsines Villain in imo. And that's consistency. The floor of Tech is allowing you to be punished less for teching (😆) in sideboard pieces during deckbuilding. Being able to recource very niche and situational cards that can be a blowout, that coupd just win games even if they do cost 2 additional resource...doesn't matter if you win lol. And then the ceiling of Tech is in your double aspect decks. He's a HOUSE. You already play the named aspect cards for 6, so how about we play them in our recourses instead. And have you taken into consideration "Command" ? Enlessly ramping every turn, as well as either buffing Tech, removing a non unique unit, or recurr a unit (again crazy consistency if you got a combo cooking). And it's every turn until they answer your low costed unit that they have to spend at least 4 resources to remove, right? Win-win. Also...srry for the rant 😂 I just love Tech lol
I'm definitely going ot be trying him out, and we only have like 10-15% of the total set here, but the "cool" things you can do with tech are too slow in our current format.
I feel like hunter might have a good double green list.
I love Bad Batch but I am not super excited.. yet. Looks very situational.
You will never see this leader in a twin suns game.
Maybe it can be good if we have an Hunter unit or if your other leader (in twin suns) has a unique unit with the same name, which is almost every leader. BTW I'm not saying Hunter is a good leader by any mean, I honestly think it's the worst leader we've seen so far.
Hunter can use the resource he's going to replace.
Which then enters un-readied, so it still costs you 1 to use during that turn.

Echo instantly replaces 3 cards in your green deck, its a staple card, it should be rare not uncommon, Omega on the otherhand should be Uncommon
