Gosh she was pretty.
You are so very beautiful Emmylou. Singing of the Luminal Mysteries with blue eyes crying in the rsin. The Lord will sing wth the sting of our lost tears.
Love the song but I used to have a stereo record player where I could rotate the balance all the way BOTH ways and hear Frank Reckard's riffs and fills. Great. Please dial him.up....reminds me of Mick Taylor.
I wrote this
This is really something.
Did he say pasta?
Vaya con dios go with god emmy lou i will miss you and your voice forever i think lovely and lovable later maybe i can hope Loki finn
Hate to say it but Kaufman is a, fill in the blank.
She is everything that feminine is supposed to be. What a beauty !!
love it
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I would love to have seen her like this, with just a stool and a guitar.
Listen, you can hear these aren’t her words
I Wrote this and more than 3 other storylines she didn’t build with her own hands
This is very good to see all the woman singing together. Women singing together set up a holy sympathetic resonance which can be measured in the physical healing of our cells. Emmylou is one of those woman that has the enlightened voice of an angel's healing. It's a very rare quality to have an enlightened voice of an angel's healing. But I am 100% certain Emmylou sings on the plane of angelic healing. I love you, Emmylou.❤
Love this song and Emmylou! ❤️
Emmylou is the 'audient' that reminds us authentic voices on social media are NOT a means to an end. Emmylou remained true to the Feminine Genius and she always remembered something beautiful keeps us united. I would love her so much since she lives in the zone of “What unites us is much greater than what divides us.” “If I Could Only Win Your Love” is my favorite song by Emmylou. I was down in Stoughton, Massachusetts down on 642 Pleasant Street, maybe 1977. Mom and dad had just installed the in-ground pool. And they had the country music station playing. This song was the first song I heard walking into the kitchen and the melody was so good I paused and listened to it. It was such a perfect pitch that remains with me to this day. Tesla once said, "If your hate could be turned into electricity, it would light up the whole world." Replace hatred with chastity, temperance, charity, diligence, patience, kindness, and humility and light up the world for our Lord. This is what authentic free energy is all about. "If your chastity could be turned into electricity, it would light up the whole world." "If your temperance could be turned into electricity, it would light up the whole world." "If your charity could be turned into electricity, it would light up the whole world." "If your diligence could be turned into electricity, it would light up the whole world." "If your patience could be turned into electricity, it would light up the whole world." "If your kindness could be turned into electricity, it would light up the whole world." "If your humility could be turned into electricity, it would light up the whole world." I do not think the world understands just how much the Sacred Virgin is ready to fight for us. Once Emmy starts singing in the memory of Gram Parsons from back in September 19, 1973, the Great Awakening will begin. Most people know Gram Parsons died on September 19, 1973, in room eight of the Joshua Tree Inn, near Joshua Tree National Park. But no one today even seems to be aware that Gram Parsons was briefly a theology student at Harvard. I suspect if Gram was alive today his song might have been sung something like this. To the Africans, the Virgin Mary appears African. To the American Indians, the Virgin Mary appears American Indian. To the Asians, the Virgin Mary appears Asian. To the Australians, the Virgin Mary Appears Australian. To the Europeans, the Virgin Mary Appears European. To the Indians, the Virgin Mary appears Indian. To the Melanesians, the Virgin Mary appears Melanesian. To the Micronesians, the Virgin Mary appears Micronesian. To the Polynesians, the Virgin Mary appears Polynesian. From now on all generations will call me blessed, for the Mighty One has done great things for me- holy is His name. His mercy extends to those who fear Him, from generation to generation. - Luke 1:48-50 ❤
Love John Randal! Of course Emmylou! ❤️
❤maravilhosa
Q emoción una verdadera leyendas
What a voice, what a woman!!
Never knew she had such a sweet sense of humour. Always a class act.
Hard to actually hear clearly what shes singing - I think the backing music is too loud.
Fell hard for her music way back & what a ride Gillian Welch & Cowboy Junkies love them & then there’s Emmy Lou ❤from an Australian she can break my heart ( in the nicest way)❤I mentioned the junkies etc because they also have a purity & directness that just is so beautiful! Buddy & Julie Millers written in chalk I adore !!
🧩👍♦️💋
❤❤❤❤🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Wrecking Ball raised the stakes. Yes, yes it did.. great production with Daniel Lanois
She has always been so humble and unassuming. That is what I love about her. She is a real sweet soul. God bless her xxx
This small clip is from a sixty minute video from PBS entitled Great Streets Edinburgh's Royal Mile that came out in 2001 hosted by EH. it includes a live performance whilst she was in Scotland.
I love you Emmylou Harris…….
A beautiful voice and soul. Have always loved her, always will. God bless her and keep her; thank you for the incredible music & stories. ❤☝️🙏🙌
Adorable
Oh, if only there were more interviewers as good as this guy!
Why was he playing the solo for Folsom Prison Blues in I Walk the Line?
she has a deep love for american music and an understanding of its history. i would have asked her to marry me
God, she was pretty!
I always loved her version of this song.
What a beautiful and moving Christmas song. Love it.
Dear Emmylou, your voice is so pure and clear. 😊
Sweet Emmylou Harris, you are so humble and your voice is angelic and so moving!❤
CSh and June and the Tennessee 3. All gone now. Sadly.
I saw the Emmylou and the ballad of sally rose on its last concert at Lincoln Center in1985 after the show Phil Kaufman her Road manager for many years and gram parsons invited up to a party after the show, it was final stop on the tour , the tenth anniversary of the hot band and her birthday all celebrated at that party and got photos with Emmy and that rare hair style!! Thank you PHIL KAUFMAN and EMMLOU for such a great memorie APRIL 5 th 1985
Sa femme chante très très mal trop aiguë ca gâche tout😢
U 2 most overrated band ever
Ain't this great? I loves me some Emmylou and some Hot Band.
Super precioso Rey del country jaja🤣😊😉😊😐🙂🙂😊
Who's that guy pretending to hit her over the head with a guitar at the beginning? One of her husbands? If so, I can see why they're divorced.
Why can you see why they divorced based on that?
@@LOLLYPOPPE It's a joke, ok?
One of the most successful country/western musicals was 1980's "Honeysuckle Rose" which Emmylou Harris was very proud to join the club in this Oscar nominated family classic. Followed by several other Oscar nominated classics: "Songwriter" (1984), "Murphy's Romance" (1985) and Carolco's long awaited troubled production of "Steel Magnolias" (1989).
Does anyone know if there is any version of this album without the horrible “daniel lanois” production? A new remix with more transparency?
not to my knowledge but im not sure the production could really be any better? it feels so vast yet intimate
@@joshoshow6229 lanois has laid a dark dusty cloud over all instruments. No clarity. Just a wall of sound. What a pity for this brilliant album
It's among my favourite Emmylou Harris albums (hard to choose just one) and it's so beautifully done, from writing to production to absolutely gorgeous musical content.
