Why do you guys always call these sets knock offs? They are alternate, but unlicensed, brands. To be a knock off it would have to feature the word Lego on it somewhere, then it's a fake/knockoff. Yes or no? 🤔

LIL TRICK you can add some grit sand (traction sand for walkways)to clear coat, paint neck and leg studs helps make a firm bond with knock off minis.

This sucks I only got into star wars legos again because of this option and the knock offs are such good quality these days. STUPID LEGO they have all the money in the world in this day and age we cant afford them. I ordered all the ships I wanted and Ali says everything has shipped so I should be OK. Bummer though Id rather have this option and take my time. I'm paying like 10% of the lego cost. The figures are iffy but the ships are awesome. I usually MOD them with real lego bricks to. I wont buy lego just because of this.

You can find that Lego-style building toys/sets which are just as good from other brands as with LEGO itself! If you're on a budget, it's easier to afford the off brand option, especially if your intention is to amass a fairly large collection for something such as a model city, armada of brick-built ships (of the sea or spacecraft variety), a whole air force's worth of brick built aircraft, fleet or cars, trucks, etc, minifig collection, miscellaneous projects/models, etc.

Just wait til the head connection, neck connection, legs, and feet keep breaking constantly. I just built this and have it mounted on base plates. Can't figure out how to connect the head and neck without mahor problems.

I just built this and the legs fall apart, the head falls apart, and the neck connection apart. It looks cool but the connections are crap!

You and me are twins literally. We’re cheap AF lol. No I have had great experiences with knock off stuff. You just gotta maintain your expectations and be prepared to do mods. But all my sets from AliExpress have been awesome. Directions leave a little to be desired but it’s 60$ compared to 400$!!! Lego is way over priced. I plan on sending some love to brick tactical. I’m doing the breaking bad set lol.

I bought an at-te that was i think also leji, and commander cody's helmet was the same, + it didn't even come with a visor. Luckily i had a lego battle pack which had an orange visor as a plus piece, and it didn't have a hole... I just cut it out

Off brand lego quality is getting better in general and i find it harder to justify buying official lego when I can save $$$ with unofficial.

The only downside here with leji from my experience are the technic pieces and the figs. I don’t buy the sets really for the figs though. We can get most of those separate anyway. The bricks themselves are fine.
