Language is used to track the settlement and the migration of people. By the virtue of the Igbo spoken they are Igbos. But there are those who never spoke the language of the people the claim to come from, such as the Bini language. Tracking by language is hard science not a figment of imagination. That is Linguistic Anthropology.

It beats my imagination that Igbo leader of Rivers State origin didn't summon the courage to return Ikwere towns to their original names. The names were changed during the war by the military governor of Rivers State in the name of Dieta Stiff

The propaganda is Igbo people want their oil. Are Igbos controlling their oil wells? Off course not. Ebocha was cut off from Imo and added to Rivers so as to cage Imo having access to River Niger. But ironically, Imo State now has the largest gas field not only in Nigeria but in west Africa and under the gas is a massive oil field. Go to Rumuokuta, most of their mothers are Igbo women and has become a runaway issue that every male must have an Igbo woman as a wife. That the Ikwerre man is insinuating that Igbos do not like Ikwerre could be because Igbo men marry closer to their village environments and as such never go far to Rivers looking for wives. The underlining issue is the war in which Igbo properties were seized and handed over to Ikwerre people in exchange for the north controlling their oil till now. Igbos regarded that as back stabbing a brother but the best way to get out of the guilt is to claim the Bini origin. But an enigma has been created as Igbos could regard them as trespassing in Igboland after coming from Bini. Would the Ikwerres stomach the request of Igbos wanting them to go back to Bini?

Ukwani are igbos stop this lie that we are not igbos because we denied our brothers across the niger because we were afraid of the Nigeria military then and now we are running with that denial now . But common sense and observation tells you that when you draw lines of comparison it's stares you straight in the face that ukwanis are igbos, period.

Omoku is Igbo. The Edo/Benin/Ibini empire conquered Omoku and other parts of western Igbo. The Edo empire extended as far as lagos and western Igbo Land. Rivers, Edo and Delta Igbo were subjects of the Edo empire. To claim Benin is to acknowledge historical conquest or slavery.
