I would agree that Leica is pricey and should not be asking for more money for less of a camera. I disagree with your statement about image quality, it’s here I think you are totally wrong. I own one Leica SL lens and have not used it once, like you I use my M lenses instead. Weight is big thing with me right now because of my heart failure problems. I wish I could get my SL2S features into the new SL3 body. SL2S resolution is enough for me. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about the SL2S camera.

Don't know whatever happened to camera world that everything has tripled its price. $200 of 2022 just became +$700 in 2024. I was looking for Ricoh-like camera and I'm just going to keep shooting with my phone. I also live in Japan and as of today they are selling for 100k Yen.

This is a great camera, but not worth it for the price that skyrocketed (even used), you can get the same look whith the old roll app on your phone, the experience is totally different but really if you don’t make a living doing this the camera is not worth the cost.
