You and I might need to be friends. I'm not someone who's 'bubbly' at all, and quite honestly I can't tolerate people who are that hippy-hoppity, but thats okay. Ive hardly lived an easy life, so I am someone who is very tuned into the nuances of everyday life, and I like ym conversations to be cognisant of that. This has meant that I largely have friends that are a little older than me because I appreciate the introspective approach + outlook to life.
The real problem is womenâs jealousy and menâs jealousy is totally different. Men are not insecure when they are jealous, they are disgusted (towards girls) or resentful (towards guys). So because girls are insecure when they are jealous, they project that onto a guy when heâs jealous. So girls constantly pick guys who could not care less about them, as they will not be jealous but the girls will misappropriate the lack of jealousy with high confidence and lack of insecurity. When in reality it is just a lack of territoriality, or because of the level of disgust, pushes her into a place of such a lack of attraction, he then cares so little about her, is happy for her to be a âsleeperâ.
So if the guys not âjealousâ of other guys being around you. i.e. not âterritorialâ he simply doesnât find you attractive. And if he is jealous, it is not insecurity. It is disgust and anger. If you make him disgusted and angry enough times. He will lose so much attraction he will no longer want you. And itâs fast. You can be 10/10 attracted to a girl, see her foirt with a guy, immediately goes to 7/10. If he does it again, is about 2/10. The beat example I can think of is meeting a stunning girl, then you find out sheâs a ladyboy or single mother. Youâre not insecure. Youâre immediately disgusted. In exactly the same way as seeing her be promiscuous or flirt with someone else.
So if you are a girl and feel jealous, feel free to show the guy. We donât care at all. But understand the dance you are dancing if you try to make him jealous. If it does, your attraction will forever be dropped in his eyes. Itâs almost impossible to gain it back. Just like if a girl said: âIâm a single motherâ. Thereâs almost nothing she can say or do past that to be as attractive again.

My problem is from a young age I was shown and taught that your appearance (mainly weight) dictates your âworth,â and all through life this has been validated over and over again. I am now 40 and trying to heal all of my past trauma, but I feel like Iâm overthinking it. When I try to tell my inner critic nice things, it just fires back.

Thanks Dia, earthing is a great technique also. I often love to squat on the early morning damp grass with the sun on my back and try feeling the connection to nature. The back of the head you rub is actually our back agnya charkha which represents our conditions so I understand how that must feel good when caught in our past. China represents that chakra and the light from morning sun on it is very helpful to clearing this according to Sahaja Yoga. You might be better to read outside in morning instead of in bed if possible â€đ

I used to be a jealous person but I can't tell anymore. I feel like I've worked on myself and I am not. Like what's the line between working on jealousy and allowing disrespect?
I think weâre allowed to have our own unique set of boundaries. Especially within a partnership where each person has subjective preferences. However, Iâd tune more into the inner experience of when jealous feelings arise. Does it feel upsetting but I am open to hearing the other personâs story and then determine if the jealousy is called for, or do I immediately panic and feel anxiety ridden, knowing this is tied to a sense of loss and abandonment fears. đ©”

When I learned scuba diving deep under water at 60 feet, I was breathing in normally, but I could not breath out fully, from fear or something... and when the time was going on... my breathing was shallower and shallower.... I barely passed my exam down there and needed to get out as soon as possible, or suffer self suffocation. The same applies here, if you watched many inspirational lectures and read many inspirational thoughts, and listened to podcasts and audio books.... and if that did not help you to change for the better... you need to stop it. Stop receiving and focus on what you can give. Discover one thing you are good at. Do it many times. Grow the little unique skill into something bigger. Stick to it and as long as you are growing, it doesn't matter how long it takes, a month, a year, or a decade, Follow what makes you grow... do not compare yourself to anybody, but instead, compare yourself today to yesterday, capture your own growth. Please do not give up, please proactive giving.
