I agree with you that I didn't like the manga for it's portrayal of the events, the plot and the characters. The author already went out of his way to make it autobiographical and include some fictional elements like her having a twin. I wouldn't mind if there's some justice or revenge plot by the other sibling for instance, maybe would have been better considering how horrific it was, but how the manga delivered here was mediocre and yeah insulting. But in the big picture I'm not surprised by this, there were some manga or other mediums in Japan depicting horrific and atrocious events, like for example art and manga about Unit 731, which did happen in Japan's history, and best red in Wikipedia.

There are plenty of interesting and historically important topics that you overlooked in this, like pre-WWII manga like Norakuro and lots of others (which influenced Tezuka to be the way he was), or mentioning how groundbreaking Ishinomori Shotaro, Mizuno Hideko and Yokoyama Mitsuteru (despite Tetsujin 28-gou being mentioned) were to manga. The gekiga movement and the Garo magazine, the origins of battle shounen manga in things like Astro Boy, Ashita no Joe, Astro Kyuudan and Ring ni Kakero before Hokuto no Ken... but overall, that's a nice video to introduce people to the general landscape of the history of manga, and it was pretty fun to watch as usual. I'd love to see more in-depth videos on manga here

I’m surprised there’s not that many people talking about the potential incest problem he could cause by donating to sperm banks enough to have 100 children.
