Fun fact: the crab "brain" is not brain at all. The crab's actual brain is incredibly tiny. All that brown stuff is actually an organ called the "hepatopancreas" and it functions sort of like the pancreas/liver in mammals. It secretes digestive enzymes and helps with the absorption of food. So, really, it's more like eating crab liver!
Americans may know this better as "mustard", a colloquial term for this organ and the other guts of the crab based on the yellow-ish color

Now he has so much backlog content that he probably could coast for a long while and make little vlog type videos here and there and be fine for years .

To be honest, some sushi is really chewy to the point that I find it bizarre it's even a thing. Why eat it when you can't even chew threw it and barely taste it? I mean, you might as well just swallow some greased up leather. XD

i had eggs almost everyday as a kid. you know how parents will buy you a bunch of something when they find out you love it, yeah. that was me with my grandma, she would always make me soft boiled eggs for breakfast and put soy sauce over them. she would also fry eggs for me when there weren't any side dishes for me to eat rice with. i started to feel "meh" about eggs but my grandma passed away a few months ago and whenever i cook eggs for myself, im always reminded of her.
My favorite moment was watching Joey's brain try so hard to reject Felix's comparison of eel to pancakes, but failing XD

Felix probably tasting the rice when he said sweet. You kinda just block out the flavor of rice if you eat it too much, which is the case in most Asian. I did remove rice in my diet for a month and after being advised to up my carb intake, I ate rice and it tasted sweeter than before.

Even if you hate some fish I strongly recommend you give another chance at different restaurants. It depends on freshness, aging, fat content and season.

People say basic as if that's a bad thing. When something becomes "standard" you know it's the best. When people think "basic" ice cream it's vanilla, which was historically one of the most expensive flavors you could get and got so loved and widespread it became the standard. The absolute top of the prize-to-cost ratio pyramid has to be the salmon nigiri with mayo and onion. It seems like a completely idiotic combination, but it just works so ridiculously well. I'm shocked I've never seen it at any sushi joints outside of Japan since it's so common here.

One thing that always shocks me about these videos is people talking about how expensive stuff is in Japan. The eel being 715 yen was shocking to them, but like in America in Medium COL area (for food at least), it's $7 for 2 Salmon nigiri, and $8 for 2 eel nigiri. Its so crazy how much cheaper stuff seems in Japan.

Sushi is the only food I was able to keep eating no matter how full or sick I'd feel. Honestly, I think it's a blessing that it's expensive in my country. If it was cheap...I'd eat it at every meal.
Also, I think Felix finds everything to be sweeter because if you don't eat sugar/ junk food regularly, everything tastes a bit sweeter. It naturally does. But your taste buds get used to the artificial sweeteners and natural sweetness just loses flavor.
Byt sushi is super healthy so i feel like eating it every meal would only be a good thing.
I think they also genuinely forgot the word "savory" exists and had no other way to describe it. I don't think they ever used savory throughout the video and that is the first word I would use to describe sushi.

Being nutritionally unbalanced is more due to eating it every meal, rather than sushi itself being particularly unhealthy. Broccoli is a healthy food and you cant live off of just broccoli. But you actually can live off of just sushi if you get a variety of types of sushi.
