Cynthia Murphy books are amazing I just read Last One To Die and Win Lose Kill Die now reading The Midnight Game. I will have to check out some of the other books. Cynthia is the new queen of plot twists .

I loved Longlegs. Nicholas Cage was so disturbing and creepy ("There she is! The almost birthday girl!" 😱). Osgood Perkins is my favorite horror movie director currently making movies.

I really enjoyed The Inheritance Games series- totally gripping and a quick fun read ☺️

The choice of the title "Let's split up!" is amazing, like the author intendendly plays around with the fact that, as you said, splitting up never end well in horror movies. 😂 Love it! I screenshotted this title to put on my TBR for the fall. You mentioned pre-ordering from Waterstones, do you have waterstones in your country or do you pre-order from the UK? I live in Sweden and was wondering about the cost of shipping from there since Br3xit. I look forward to hearing you talk about all of these books later on! And tell us about YALC! Sounds amazing, I would love to go next year.

I absolutely loved Diavola as well. I feel like the toxic family elements were done in a way that felt very realistic and was truly the most horrific thing in the book.

The tension of the nail in the first one will never, ever leave me. I thought this one had excellent anxiety rep and I really felt it, I was right there with Eric. It didn't topple the first one, but I liked it more than the second. 4 stars!

I just got My Throat an Open Grave by Tori Bovalino

I was so bored with The House That Horror Built. I was so excited about the idea of the book but felt like nothing really happened in it. It was just repetative in that the woman was a maid and she would go to work everyday and was creeped out by one of the props. Very, very slow.

I enjoyed this wrap-up video. Thank you, Kasha! I did read You Like It Darker. While it was not the best Stephen King short story collection, there are some good stories in it. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on "Rattlesnakes". To me, it is peak King. That seems to be the standout for some other reviewers I have listened to.
