This time I have such an interesting mix of books to show you. I have MG, YA and Adult Horror. I even have a bunch of non fiction books too!

Ex: I've never read anime but there's a cool Japanese book series called "Night of the Living Cat"
Book 4 is coming out next month. 😻😻😻
Night of the living cat is a fantastic title. There are also many fiction japanese booksthat involve cats and I am always so tempted to get them even if they are not horror because...cats
I read The Collector last year and really enjoyed the creepiness. There’s a second book too which I’m hoping to read this autumn. And yay for Shadowhall Academy - I’ve got it too and just know it’s going to be fabulous 😊😊😊 Thanks for putting The Killing Code on my radar 🤗

One of my students just gave me the secret of the old clock to read so that we can discuss it. She likes to read like me. House of Hunger is my book club's next read
that is so cool! I remember one of my teachers gave me The Little prince as a present when I was like 9 and I really enjoyed it.

I loved Death of a Bookseller and A Good House for Children was haunting. It wasn't exciting but I enjoyed it. Duma Key is excellent!! One of King's best. 🖤You have lots of great books to keep you entertained! I'm happy to see that I am not the only person with no "shelf" control. 😂16:42 29:19
I have no shelf control...it is what it is. Hahahaha The problem now is which ones to pick to read first. Too many I want to read at the same time

I have Red River Seven. I'm interested in the MINA series, but I'm kinda on the fence. I have both the book and audio for Where Sleeping Girls Lie. Her 1st book was a 5-star read, so I'm greatly anticipating another good read. I'm definitely a SUPERNATURAL series gurl, even though I've never read a book. I've read the different lore books supporting the show, but never an actual story.
Speaking of Anne Rice, have you read The Mayfair Witches series? Love the books, can't stand the series! 😂😂
Speaking of Christina Henry, I got her latest. The Familiar sounds interesting, I'll wait a while b4 checking out.
I've bought quite of few special purchases from Waterstones. Some UK covers are so much better than the US.

I think the Mina books might be for you if you enjoy Buffy the vampire slayer and that type of fighting monsters, found family vibe. But it is YA so it also depends if you enjoy that.

No, I have read all Anne Rice vampire books and the mummy. But I never read the witches books

Awesome haul! Chad Lutske is an author who writes supposedly YA books, but is an awesome horror storyteller. I loved The Magic Cottage, just a weird kinda folk tale. The Bad Place is one of Koonts' better novels in my opinion. I have a couple of non-fiction, serial killer books I need to read. Stranger Beside Me is one I would like to read. I am fascinated by the life of Ted Bundy. Evocation is gorgeous!
I am intrigued about The Magic Cottage because folk tales can be a hit or miss for me but I trust I will enjoy his writing.... I hope.
I have also always been very fascinated by Bundy and the way he presented himself. I have been waiting to read this book too.
This Evocation edition is just too pretty. I hope I enjoy the book
Have you ever watch Henry- Portrait of a Serial Killer? It is heavily inspired by the crimes of Henry Lee Lucas and Otis Toole. Some liberties were taken, so it will be interesting for you to compare the movie and the true crime book.
When you read Small Sacrifices watch an interview with Diane Downs. The experience is absolutely chilling. She laughs a lot and has absolutely no remorse. I don't use the word "evil" a lot when I refer to people, but that woman is an evil.

I own that movie!! One of the most amazing portrayals of a killer. I might have to read the book and then watch the movie.
True Crime stories can be so absolutely horrifying because the things that you are reading are real and some interviews and recollections of the horrors that these people had to go through it really gets to you.
I have a lot of vampire and witchy books that I need to get to on my TBR that I have not gotten to yet
I really love vampires and I think in the last years I have been slacking so I need to read more of them

Seasons 1- 3 of True Blood matches the storyline of the first three books ( and slightly season 4 with book 4, I'm team Eric) but goes in a completely different direction in season 4 to the rest of the series. Plus, I just recently received Daniel Greene's kickstarter book " Neon Ghosts" which has vampires in it 😁
OOOOH I see. I know I started it whe it came out and was so popular but then stopped probably around season 3 so I would love now to read all the books and then watch the show.
