Hello from Germany. I'm living parttime in my apartment, the most time in my van (not finished yet). It feels more comfortable to stay in my van. I'm afraid to get rid of my apartment, I'm paying the same amount of rent since 20 years, and if I give up my apartment, I will never get a new one much cheap. I don't need it realy, I"m only every 2 weeks at "home" for loundry. Weird?! In the cold month I'm using it more, due to not completed insulation. Many people doesn't understand my way of life. But it doesn't bother me. Anyway, you got a new follower. Maybe we will met eachother in the UK. Best wishes, Mike

Hi Kev, I've been meaning to drop you a message for a little while now as I’m not one whom really drops many comments; However I've subscribed to your You-tube channel and having watched many of your videos all of which have been given a thumbs up from me for your valued given shared time with the interests you’ve shared with us. I'm a 56'year old gentlemen looking to be moving into a van like you sometime in my life. But as for like yourself with lifestyle changes financial matters are what’s hindering me. I own a Mercedes Vario as you will see in my thumbnail but it’s in need of a fair amount of work which I am doing myself with hope to be posting the process onto You Tube as I gradually do the work on it, But a position of steady employment I’ve been long in seek for as an HGV Driver, I’ve just accomplished my HGV Class One Licence 20/11/2023 but now it’s getting the job with no driving experience that’s not easy to get I’m finding. You might as well kill me rather than get me to give up my pets. I was made homeless overnight at one point and i travelled in my car with a huge budgie cage, my disabled daughter and little dog, with belongings stuffed in every nook and cranny so I couldnt even see out the back. Plus was suffering with intense non stopping autoimmune pain and vertigo. It was hell. Driving around desperate and in physical spiritual and emotional torment. Yeah, 'nobody loves you when youre down and out' sung Nina Simone. And Nobody understands whos not an animal lover the choice you make to suffer and also die for them. I truly care only for my daughter and animal companions. Everyone else will let you down even when youve helped them all out throughout life with everything they needed. I forced myself to keep breathing when my body was torturing me, because the anguish of leaving my innocents alone and defenceless was too powerful and I clung to the last fragments of life in me.

Younare doing really well. It must be nice to learn a new skill. I always love a new project. Wishing you every success in this new venture.

Take this tip for the eggs put the eggs in some water say in a jug or whatever you have if they float they are manky and if they sink they are sound plus you don't waste the water I put mine back in the kettle for my tea or you can chuck it away .We hope this helps to keep you happy and healthy.Kevbo&Babyjack💤💤💤💤💤 sleep tight

Hi Kev, agreed this weather is hot especially in your van. I have installed 2 maxxair fans one on pull one on push. Works amazing for getting rid of the warm air on the van. A must for vanlife , especially for your fur babies

I lived in a van for 18 months then finally got a good job and rented a small cottage 3 years later I am buying a big van kit it out and giving the cottage up can't wait 😀

Hari OM I might call that fried bread, but every bit as tasty! Word to the wise; if in doubt about eggs, break them into a cup or small bowl first. If they are off it is the smell not the colour that will give them away! But mostly they will keep okay for up to a fortnight after suggested date - provided they haven't been sitting out in that heat... I run a 56l fridge, induction hob, toaster and microwave off an Aferiy 2400w power bank, which only requires a daily power boost for about an hour to ninety minutes. HIghly recommend that setup for your future planning. Do give Rupert an ear scritch from me - he was clearly enjoying the chest rub! YAM xx

Does you good to have a chilled especially as its so hot. Im with you on not liking how we slow down as we get older. I use to be much busier but now I just cant do as much. You look Iike you are in a good spot for chilling. And Dont feel guilty. Test eggs by dropping in a mug or jug of water if it sinks its ok. If it doesnt sink they are off

Oh My, Hi from South Carolina 🎉.. Fantastic Breakfast 🍳. 🫶 I use Vinegar/water in spray bottle ..I find in Hot weather Mold grows on Plates here in States. It’s also great for cleaning out coolers/refrigerators too

Currently 37 celsius here in southwest Japan....been the same temperature with 90% plus humidity for the past several days. Not a fan of summer to be honest mate.

Hi Kev, not sure where in the country you are, but I bought some new gear last year as I was going camping but decided my aging body is not going to use them, so they are sitting unused in my car :) I don't want anything for them , just go to someone who will use them. I have a cooker (like the one you have there) travel kettle, plug in food heater (car plug in thingy), cooler and a small tent. Let me know if you would like them x

I've got some really good mates who can't stop working, go, go, go ! I aim to do two jobs each day, then I just stop and mellow ( I now Have to stop ☹️ ). They slightly envy me and I them, but you don't get any more Brownie points for wearing yourself out ... Peace & Calm Kev ...
