- I met Mad Mark!! This video s all about making new friends when you live in your van. A few days ago I had the pleasure of meeting mad mark #madmarksvanlife and I have met so many new friends since I have been living full time in my van over the last year.

That is so true. We live in a world especially with the computer rage with the CZcams and always Instagram. People don't want to talk to nobody, no more even relationships are online. Everybody's gonna line to look for someone to date. How weird is that you can't even find a woman or a man in the streets. People used to once go to the supermarket and you can meet your girlfriend or your future wife in the supermarket that's not possible to. Day cause we live in a selfish world. I think this is why the world is going to c*** or going downhill. Cause people don't toe to each other. People don't care about each other. Everybody's about themselves and everybody's got problems. Everybody's stressed out except me. Of course lying, I'm no stress. My life is great but.

Kev, Mark and Sally called in on me and the wife ( we are Subscribers ) when they were in France on holiday last year, had an evening with them at our home in Normandy, he parked on our driveway for the evening, him and Sally are really nice people. we had a great meet up.

So many people in your position.. personally I found that when I’m out walking my dog everyone will say hello and have a chat even Women on their own are happy to pass the time of day.. when I’m walking alone most people avoid eye contact nobody even looks at me.. it really has changed my life.

Thanks for this video about making friends which I imagine is similar to the canal boat community..once knew a mate who lived on a canal boat but sadly is no longer with us..
One of my concerns is the Labour government in waiting and their plans for net zero by 2030 which is not far away..I imagine that diesel vans along with other combustion engine vehicles will be high on their hit list..

Hi, thanks for that, I'm not sure what to think about the diesel situation, I'm 64 now and I just don't see how they can outlaw it in my lifetime but nothing surprises me anymore. Maybe a bike with a trailer :-)
morning! followed your link and went to check out madmark, watched him wandering around Arundel. We go there regularly to walk around the lake, fed the ducklings there last week. It's been interesting see the row of vans grow and grow and grow over the last few years. I'm sure you're right about making friends in the van, certainly easier than for those of us in houses.
