- How I wash and shave in my van with no sink or running water. You don't need to be dirty and smelly just because you live in a van :-)
If you would like to support me in my journey you can use the link below, thank you, Kev

Brilliant, nice to find a normal Bloke living how he wants... I've been dithering about moving into a van for a couple of years but couldn't get motivated......I'm 63 and was thinking I'd left it to late...
Well you've changed that.. thanks...I'm going to do it... Cheers Kev., Keep up the good work..👍
Go for it! Definitely not to late!!
Cat’s lick🤯 .👋🏻🏴
Cant beat it van life 🎉🎉
I like a simple life, uncluttered and having just the practical things you need, you come across as a very down to earth chap, you are doing weĺl and it take time do do the jobs in the van,
Thank you, I agree. Anything that is worth doing takes time and patience! Kev
pal, them Wahl £12 beard trimmers work a treat, can recharge the AA batteries with your 12V cig socket.
Thanks mate, that's a good idea! Kev
@@Re-CreatingKev yep.
Saving money on crazy rent - always smart.
I just watched an old man wash himself in a van. My life has become somewhat boring.
😂🤣
Thanks for the inspirational videos lovely! really enjoying seeing a UK van dweller actually showing us there's an alternative to this costly life we're all leading at present both reassuring and informative. Many thanks ❤
Might have to call you Rosie? That was lovely, you are on to it! 😍
😊 thank you, Kev
Interesting😀. Funny I always used to call it a “flannel”. All my grandparents came from UK (English) However, my wife always called it a “face washer” even though all her grandparents came from UK (Cornish/Welsh). I’m in Australia. All the best.
Same, I'm in Melbourne and I've always called it a flannel - is that an Aussie thing?
@@joanneburford6364 I'm in Adelaide and my wife is from Kadina (very Cornish area). She has some interesting words and phrases.
Love that!

I am considering the same lifestyle.
Buuut! I am greeting a gym membership for one of the main chains (24/7 access).
That way I have a WC/shower every with that chain, plus workout equipment and free clean water. Also I do not have to clean that stuff.
Some chains also have a sitting area where I could work from & charging up ALL my devices incl. battery banks.
Declutter & Simplyfy Life!
Go for it!
Well I wasn't expecting that ;-) We are also fans of flannel washes in a bowl when we're away in the van, and look out for motorway service stations to use their free showers. A trick we picked up , as the showers are often on those timer switches, is to carry some cable ties to keep them turned on for the duration.
:-) People ask me how I wash in the van so I thought I'd show and tell, great tip about the cable ties
of course the tie can just be slipped down from holding the water on when you're done. thought I'd better add that in case anyone thought I was walking away from the shower leaving the water running for evermore!
How can the twist tie stop it from turning ??
@@susanlynn6545 the cable tie goes round the pipe and the switch, holds the timer switch in, then can be just slipped off when we've finished, does that make sense? not sure how to word it!
@@Niftyknits ill try to remember this option. Thank you
Lol
