    • @candadcookit
      @candadcookit Před 2 měsíci

      Thanks for your comment. That's right. Is it related to food poisoning? Since the egg-white is on the outside, it may be more susceptible to bacterial contamination. What do you do with leftover egg-whites? In Japan, eggshells are sterilized, so food poisoning bacteria are not much of a concern at the household level. Thank you for the information.

    Looks delicious! I've discovered that the Japanese meaning for the Saury fish is "Autumn knife/sword fish". I also love how simple it is to cook - salt. That's it. Perfect for someone learning to cook seafood! Those of us living on the Atlantic Ocean side don't get to have much fresh Saury. Curious if the frozen is any good? Thanks for posting!

    • @candadcookit
      @candadcookit Před 6 měsíci

      Thank you for watching and comment! Salt-grilled fish is simple and very delicious. Frozen saury is also sold in Japan.The taste may be a little weaker than raw saury. If you are using frozen saury, place it in a nylon bag and thaw it under running water. Once the surface of the saury has thawed and become soft, sprinkle with salt and grill. If you thaw the saury completely, it will lose its freshness.

      Thank you for watching my video. In Japan, it is customary to eat eggs raw, so we sell them after sterilizing the shells of the eggs. You may be relieved to find out if the egg shells are sterilized in your country. Do you like YuYu Hakusho?

    • @M3rtyville
      @M3rtyville Před 2 lety

      @@candadcookit From my knowledge, eggs here in Germany are sterilized too. But I am not certain. Maybe I look at it later. But eggs here aren't stored in fridges but on try sections in markets. Yes, I like Yu Yu Hakusho. What is the general opinion on anime in Japan? Perhaps its stupid for me to ask, considering from what I heard Japanese people don't like to express their opinion as they would like.

    • @candadcookit
      @candadcookit Před 2 lety

      Eggs are also sold at room temperature in Japan. I think fresh eggs are probably okay if the shells are sterilized. I heat eggs that are near the expiration date. In Japan, it's still a bit embarrassing to profess that adults like anime. Many adults watch movies like Studio Ghibli, but I don't think they watch TV anime very much. I've always loved TV anime and I still watch it a lot. I saw the Yu Yu Hakusho many times so that I could tell that your icon is Toguro quickly.
