It should be mandatory for hardware and software e-readers to use the same information saving methods, instead is a mess. I've installed KOreader on Android, Linux computer and Kobo Clara HD, this way i have all the notes, bookmark and so on synchronized, but Kobo Clara with KOreader can't be synchronized outside Dropbox, so i have to copy/paste all the stuff myself because i use pCloud as a cloud storage in my ecosystem. In fact recently i only read on Android when i'm outside because it's simpler.

One thing i hate is ereaders with a logo you need to read everytime you get to the bottom. Luckily tape exist. Still though, keep the logo on the back

Nice video! I use OPDS for connecting to Calibre. Then I don’t have to be at my computer, it’s all done on my ereader. I also use the Polish EPUB plugin.

I am having trouble using the default KOReader sync server between an inkpalm5 and kobo Libra 2. I’m wondering if it’s because of the calibre plugin I use to automatically convert epub to kepub for the kobo. You seem to have it setup correctly. I wonder if I remove the kepub conversion if things will start to work

There's no point in buying a color ebook reader unless you want to read comics in it. I mean, books are just black letters on white paper, and we're not children anymore to be demanding colorful images to go with the text, are we? A friend of mine said she wanted to get one, I asked why, and she said it was because of the book covers! I mean... What?!?

May I ask, do you have video or photo of just HOW MUCH DARKER the color is when both b/w and color DONT use any light and reading inside? I usually dim all my devices, tv, computer, phone. While the current TTS on iOS 17 is perfect, I hope the AI improvements on iOS 18’s Siri would make the TTS more natural (like proper pauses between commas and full stops, or between paragraphs). Hopefully, they can add a proper Read Aloud action within the Apple Books app, I read a lot of classics with cross references, and modifying the TTS to exclude the superscripts would make for a better reading and listening experience

Just ordered a kindle 11th gen but then started to feel like I could have order Kobo Clara Colour because it has a colourful and the price difference isn’t bad. I don’t really read comics much these days and if I do I can do it on my phone, so I don’t really need a Kobo Clara Colour and shouldn’t feel bad either for getting kindle BW.
