When "THE PIANO" was filmed at Waverley, they filmed it in the same place the piano is in the game - recently there's been some promo for Fife with the Leven branch (re)opening in the same spot. The Pinao is almost always round near P2. ScotRail did work with the developers re: trains and sounds for the game so glad it's pretty spot on! The station is of course Network Rail operated though.

TSW seems to lack a speed cap for at least some of their trains. I once managed to reach 200 kph in a loco not meant to run more than 120

I think I'll give this game another shot. I remember spending a few hours in a game, and then feeling like I was going nowhere, or not doing as good as I could be doing...I think the key to this game is just patience, and go with it. YOLO. From what I remember, you can build up the industry by delivering goods without having to deliver the resources to a city. So you can go around the map and connect up resources to factories to make some money, then look into connecting factory to city, and so on...I remember learning how using boats to transport resources yields good money because boats can deliver a lot of resources, and the transportation costs are cheap.

It is quite important for austrian train travel, because all trains from Vienna/Salzburg to the west of austria (Tyrol and Vorarlberg) take this route. (They skip rosenheim via the „Rosenheimer Schleife“, thats why there is a rail triangle at rosenheim)
