From someone who’s only been learning harmonics for a month let me tell anyone who’s having trouble bending that the most important thing is RELAX. Bending really clicked for me a couple days ago. I don’t use anything but the very back of my tongue (feels like my Adams Apple going down). The back of my tongue pulls DOWN on the floor of my mouth and it pull the note down. That plus having the harp at the right angle and the note five bombs. It’s like doing the earth Vader breathing in the back of your throat. THATs bending in 30 seconds. Also the lower the note the more air you need to move through the harp.

I can play that lick you played no problem…. It’s that final semi gone I cannot get consistently

I cannot get the last semi town but not consistently. I assume I’m just not relaxing enough, as this was my issue up until til yesterday when I had a light bulb moment. I’ve only Lu been learning harp for a little over a month. Any tips for really bailing that Ab (tone and a half bend)?
