My question is about repairing and maintenance of Carbon wheels with carbon spokes. Not every bicycle shop can replace a carbon spoke, So you are SOL when you are traveling throughout Europe, The Middle East and Asia.
I've been running the Vaypor 2023 for a couple of months now against my Lake CX332. The Lakes are staying put a lot more lately and I'm grabbing the Bonts. For my foot (which is actually a bit narrow) I've never owned a shoe so light, so stiff, and so unbelievably comfortable - even after 3-4 hours on the bike. And I never thought I'd own a shoe that would make me think about selling my CX332s, but this Bont is that good. Honestly, it's almost perfect
Salut @charlesOuimet, je reconnais le mont royal (avec les spots rebelles). J'aimerais bien le voir ton vélo, fait mois savoir quand tu retourne au mont royal si tu veux de la compagnie,
Hi brother I'm paul can I have a trispoke or disc wheel please 😢

Hi brother can I have used trispoke or disc wheel please
Funny how everything is called ai today
For UV reasons I need “full length” kit, and shopping for non-thermal “pants” can be quite annoying. Big fan of The Black Bibs though.
I struggle with the fact that they are a major brand, but yet don't carry a stock of shoes and instead are made to order which takes 5-6 weeks.
Looks very nice! Factory Weight at 56/58? Stiffness / Weight Ratio? Stability / Responsiveness? Ride feels like...? When is your full review coming?😂
Only video on youtube that does a good job of answering this question. Well done! C'est bon!
Nice video! How did you prevent the camera from rotating downwards? I found that no matter how tight I mount it, it will point downwards just after a few bumps 🙄
Would have been way more interesting had you preformed 2-3 20min. ftp-tests as reference points, instead of 1 and 5min tests
May I know your height and what size frame you have? Thanks!
Esperaba ver la parte nocturna ¿Y solo le das dos vueltas al jardín?
Great review, I've had Ekar for a cou5of years and I'm very happy with it. You make an interesting point about the clutch resistance, hopefully it won't play with my mind.
I just found your video. Nicely done! Could you possibly post a picture taken from behind the rear tire showing the actual width of the arc of the mudflap. I have a 3T Strada with 30mm tires. I am wondering if these will look to wide from the rear. I am trying to figure out a way to adapt these without drilling the frame of which I would never do! I do not care for the strap on mounts and like the way these mount through the axle bolts. Thank you, Vinny
It's cause it's shimano
Fixing your chin strap has to be worth a watt.
Guy rides rim brakes AND flirts with 6.5 W/Kg? Total renaissance man.
👎
Not just for elite top percentage. Improves your HRV, also super useful if you injured and can’t ride
fenders are usually attached to the frame, not the wheels, right? so i can take the wheels off to clean the underside of the fenders if i need to?
I don’t think you can take a bike box into a fast train.
Here's a thing no matter what bike you use As long as you're a strong cyclist you can beat them even they use carbon bikes carbon is just lighter not strong it's light as well as weak material
Dope video 🤘🏻😎
In the take where you have the sunglasses on top of it the helmet the temples of the sunglasses are out of it so it does not fit the temples in?
Congrats for your epic ride and thanks for the video!! I will join the Rift this year and found your reportage super useful to prepare myself physically, technically and mentally further more!
Great job! I think I would prefer my Sworks Epic with a 30-51 low gear.😅
putaclic! "the best" bla bla bla... BS... How can you say that without having even tried them...
"next wave we are going to dip the wheel" *camera man decides that its a good time for a backflip
Want to come to Mexico? 2 day, 270Kms 6,800+
1 hour before the ride ? that seems like a mistake honestly...you are loosing bloodflow to digestion... you should fuel with a strong dinner night before, and try to ride it fasted with sugar water... or have a breakfast and leave atleast 2 to 4 hours before starting your ride
Girvin flex stem had one on my mountain bike in the 80’s 🚲👊
your stem is neutral short, and the drop wide you need larger and negative stem and narrow drop, a 200 or 250mm negative stem may do it , you may even end winning the race. Plus your saddle is too high.
thank you xQc
Quelques risques pris sur la route inutilement
Your pulleys shouldn't cost more than your derailleur ?
What mount are you using on the stem of bike?
Thank you for the video Charles. Very good tests. Please tell me I might have missed it: did you also decreased the saddle height by 1cm when going from the 165 to 175? Also vise versa. The reason I'm asking is that saddle height is one of the major indicators of the ability to generate power on the saddle. If you didn't change saddle height with the crank length change, can you redo the test in a future video? It's really interesting and a hot topic these days. Also, if you can get your hands on two cranks 175 and 165 can you also try that outside? Im just throwing ideas for future videos here.
Write wrong. Just realized from your footage that you did all your sprints 100% standing. You can try seated tests too. Don't forget to decrease saddle height by 1cm when going from 165 to 175
Did you end up reviewing the redshift seatpost?
I like my 8” crank shaft!
the one thing i'll remember from this man: lube your asshole.
Use an e-bike next time, Charles. lol
Here's me trying for 200 watts
😂
You ever heard of pas normal studios 😁
I got a new bike and i wasted 1 hour on limit screws and cable length trying to adjust the rear derailleur wondering why it doesn't shift properly with them perfectly set, till i realised the problem was at the b screw😂
Why not just replace the shimano pulley wheels with same size pulley wheels with ceramic bearings, eg. BBB rollerboys or similar. You won't gain weight that way?
It looks fine. Most carbon bikes are all looking the same so I think a more important bit of knowledge to know when making a choice is types of carbon and how it's used in key areas, and the molds they come out of. These are things the manufacturers say are trade secrets. Which is why I'd never buy a carbon bike.
The biggest factor for me is the seat post clamp, I’ve never had good luck with internal clamps. Why!!!
You just have to pack it full of grease and then stick the post in, working in a bike shop I’ve seen a lot and they are actually easy once you know how to do it right
@@znon_ bro I own a bike shop, it’s not a standard seat post, helps when it ships with the correct wedge
@@charlesmansplaining it looks sick tho 🤣
