    I don't get what partnof the video should explain HOW to make it right thou? 😅 I have seen the wrong vs right ways so many times but I literally don't know how to correct the line. It literally looks like the toss hands in the slow motion video where she gets pulled in and forward again and they lose hight that way but seeing that doesn't really help knowing how to overcome the problem

    So at the start of the video, the jump line in on the slight diagonal, over the top of the base, but at the end, it’s straight up and down in the flyers centre. Is there a preference?

    When weightlifters jerk they are aiming to drive the weight straight into that elbows locked position to avoid having the lift being judged as a "press out", meaning a missed lift When I came to cheerleading the most valuable piece of advice I got was give the skill enough power to have the flyer hit their weightless point at 3/4ths extension then press out the last quarter. Immediately my skills became more stable because I could control the lock out

    • @projectstunt2167
      @projectstunt2167 Před 2 lety

      Yes! I found it difficult transitioning to the press out style as needed when I went to cheer the day after weightlifting. There is also another technique I use which is to slightly throw it higher than needed, catch high and settle and recover like you would in weight lifting. I'm actually going to do a video on the two techniques! So thanks for sharing that!

    Do long arms struggle?

    • @projectstunt2167
      @projectstunt2167 Před 2 lety

      Shorter arms usually make holding the stunt overhead easier just like in weight lifting. However, long arms can make tosses easier as you are holding for longer. But people struggle to use their entire body to hold and perform stunts so arm length advantages/disadvantages are an insignificant factor until you reach the elite skills.
