Something I really enjoyed about the game was moving to being absolutely terrified to totally relaxed. It's part of learning to live in a new world. You reach a point where you understand the ecosystem and you can live comfortably in it. To me, it added to the immersion.

leviathans are scary cuz they dont attack often and theres always a chance they will jumpscare you, and when they do attack you they leave you alone, building up fear more and more till you just cant. tho this strat is good! definetly follow it.

What about people house rules, are there ways to balance out seekers by for example taking extra basic weaknesses 1, or more? I think the designers should just take 1-3 cycles bringing up the power level of the other classes, big time, and keep seekers getting strictly diversified cards. Give Guardians, Rogues, Survivors and such more specialised cards that seeker cannot do, at all, like shortcut.

Shortcut and mobility should've been Rogue colour pie. Absolutely agree on most all your points, but especially your last few, how Seekers are so homogeneous in cardpool and design that they generally feel boring, or more stake at least when they could be fleshed out much more outside of getting clues.

Once you kill your first Leviathan they stop being scary and start being more of an annoyance. It’s not even that hard: fill up 3/4 of your inventory with gas pods and craft a stasis rifle.

Hi, I'm on my third campaign in a 2 person group(haven't started it yet) and this is my first time actually independently building a deck(I'm using short supply and geared up), and I've recently been worried that I'm running too many assets and running out of actions/taking AOOs on my turns and not having enough cards to commit to tests. Is there like a good ratio to go by for Yorick running Short Supply?

This was absolutely crazy, but I was enjoying all of this, got me laughing so much. I love that this is so real and definitely truly portrays how insane base building can get, especially in Subnautica. So many other players just either cut out this kind of stuff or just finish everything off-camera, but I love that you kept this in. It feels so much more relatable, especially with your reactions, that are real and how everyone would react. There's no fakery to be found here :')

Tbh I've had a blast with Bandolier + Cyclopean Hammer Diana as third character. She had some flex-clues, but also could bonk some bad guys she drew off the Drawn to the Flame or Delve. We basically went balls-to-the-wall with hot-headed Diana drawing every single treachery, "I'll handle this one"-ing, and swinging her jolly hammer. Twas fun

I don’t know if it was the mandatory “the campaign is borked” break or just the fact that it is near the end, and the game is (mostly) running smoothly, the level of enjoyment you seem to be having is palpable. I’ve been enjoying these last few episodes immensely. Glad you got it running again.

In my own campaigns I rebuilt the marine trees too. For different reasons, I moved emplaced into the core abilities with traverse fire and suppression. I wanted my machine gunners standing around and suppressing. Reorganized the tree to be better organized around a theme, splinter moved up into the trooper row, where I was building around the shoot twice talent, I moved the disorient perk down into the machine gunner row so that everything was built around suppression. I was using flush to finish off early game units like you do walk fire in lwotc (which is a better version). I really like WAIO but I can absolutely see the challenges in a campaign like this. Another poster mentioned A better weaponry, and Im trying to learn how to mod just so I can make WAIO, proficiency classes, and A better weaponry play nice. Big hefty cannons with shred and massive magazines, that take two actions to fire seems like it would be awesome with the proficiency marine if it could be modified to play nice.

28:00 100% and at least one modder agrees . There is a shield plugin proficiency plugin for assaults. It changes the play style a bit and works a bit better than the proficiency phalanx in my opinion. Assaults in my class modlist have mostly been replaced by the proficiency shock trooper for running shotgunner and the scout for melee.

That was my favorite call to action so far.
