I have Focusrite Scarlet and a audio-technica condenser mic but I only get incredibly quiet sound and I was looking to update the sound for my ASMR. now it seems that a regular USB Yeti is million times louder. I am not sure if it is supposed to be like this. What could be wrong? Gains up and I have followed the instructions. From Audacity I can see that the blue track is almost even or if there is anything going on it's tiny versus when I put yeti on through USB and touch I get these big patterns. I am confused as fk.

I have a Yamaha ag6mk2 mixer and Everything was working fine until last week. Let me get into details .. I do singing live streams on tiktok, using 2 cellphones. One for the stream and one for music ( karaoke ). I have my stream c to c in the back of the mixer and in the streaming cellphone .. then I have my aux in the mixer and in the cellphone from where the music comes in. Settings are on loopback ( that is what the expert at yamaha told me to set it to ) . Everything was going great until now I get a crackling sound on the live stream and my background music can not be heard. Yes I tried different cables and yes I have all the drivers installed. Really frustrated and grateful for any help .. P.S I also cleaned the plug in from the cell phone to remove dust etc.

Now I think I will use my Rockville RPM 1870 mixer to do the same. I guess I can record onto a thumb drive and then move the finished product to my computer and burn a CD there. Worth a try. Thanks!!

Wht if i want to record my guitar without effects, then dry and 2 wet signals with my gear?! The goal is to record the guitar setup.. but with the ability to feed the recording of my guitar back into my gear and make changes while basically rerecording.. So in need to split the signal (i would use a hummdinger or another guitar signal splitter)of the guitar directly after the guitar Then i also feed 3 mics or 3 line out of the 3 amps (yes they got one and a speaker emulator) into the audio interface… And i also have to have a send so that i can switch with my guitar with that so that i can change the effects till they fit the mix… Is there something that someone can suggest that will do that… (there is also a Bass, e Drums and a mic) Because i really do not know wich Route i want to take… specially because i would like to controll the DAW with a neet controller… was flirting with akai force for a while but they don’t have enough instrument inputs for something like that….

I left a long comment a month ago, and one also about two months ago. I started my channel in April 2024 (last month). I currently have over 40 videos posted. Everything in my studio is set up and working perfectly (you may wonder how that’s possible after all of the bugs that had to be worked out during the first two months). If you are new to making CZcams videos, I want to leave you a few helpful tips! First of all, just get started! This video of Jane’s was the single most inspiring and motivating video I have ever watched! My videos are on how to play country piano, and so I needed to accomplish everything that Jane covered in this video! I am still using OBS Studio, and even though I got really frustrated with it and wanted to try something else, there was nothing else I could find that would do the job. About Chordie App, I am still using it, but I just purchased the Midiculous app but have not switched over yet. I made lots of videos without realizing that YOU HAVE TO TELL CHORDIE WHAT KEY YOU ARE PLAYING IN! The app kept naming the notes incorrectly because I had it set for the wrong key! I had to take time during the videos to explain the difference between sharps and flats, and that got old after a while! The only thing I haven’t figured out on OBS is how to use the vocal filters properly. I have used the NOISE FILTERS on and off, but with mixed results. Sometimes it really messes up words I say and has resulted in having certain parts of my clips that are unusable. After you make a video you will need a way to manage it. I tried using Microsoft’s App for this, but was greatly disappointed. I ended up finding an app called VLC MEDIA PLAYER! It was free and it was like finding a treasure! I made a small donation to that company. This app will give you a place to send your videos to as they leave OBS and before they get to your video editor. I am at a point now where I can make piano videos quickly, BUT, after that comes the editing! I could not make a decision about what app to choose at first because they all seemed overwhelming! I ended up choosing DaVinci Resolve 18 (it is also free but I would have rather purchased an editing product because I’m from that generation that (mistakenly) believes that free stuff isn’t quality stuff. I know now that this mind set was very wrong and limiting! I struggled to learn the DaVinci program over about two months, and the learning process was very frustrating for me! I would highly recommend D.R. to anyone who is new to editing and needs an app for that. There are about ten key things you need to learn, and after that you will be on your way. At this point now, I can pull my videos in and edit them fairly quickly and easily, but it did take time to get to this point. I used Chat GBT constantly to ask it questions about how to do certain things in DR, and Chat has been an unbelievably strong and reliable asset during this process. For my thumbnails I am using Canva. I hesitated to get a paid subscription at $15 Per month, but honestly I use it every single day and it is an amazing tool and will do EVERYTHING you need to create beautiful thumbnails ( these are your cover pictures for your videos). Anyway, I’m back at Jane’s channel today to reminisce, to see what else I can take away from this awesome tutorial, and to see if I can find some tips on vocal filters. I should be sending Jane something to properly compensate her for everything I “stole” from this video (do they have Starbucks in the UK?). Thank you Jane for all of your help and your selfless attitude that you bring to everything you do here! If you can, please take a look at one of my creations if you want to see what amazing ways your inspirations result in helping people like me fulfill their dreams!

This was a really good review. I am really new to this process of home audio recording, podcasting, streaming, etc but the more I read these reviews the more my knowledge improves. I recently purchased the Samson G Track Pro. I haven't opened the item as I am still comparing microphones and features. The mixing and loopback features of this microphone are brilliant. I am also convinced of your recommendation that this is possibly a good microphone for beginners wanting to learn the workflow processes of audio recording and mixing. I think that what PreSonus has done with this USB micro is rather unique compared to other USB microphones. One of the reasons for wanting to keep the Samson microphone was because of the switchable polar recording patterns as well as the 2 channel input options which it seems like this PreSonus also includes. For lack of a better way of saying this and hoping as a newbie I am using the right terms, the PreSonus is sort of like an audio interface (via software) and microphone all built into one via "Device Manager" in Windows where you can also using a mobile device as a mixing board to manage the audio input sources. It is a brilliant workflow for those wanting to learn the workflow processes of audio mixing which I haven't seen in any other USB microphone review. Are you able to comment on some of the observations and feedback I've noted here? Thanks in advance for your reply.
