@@billburkhart thanks for the response. It was almost like you were kidnapped, you were here and then gone... I understand the weather, but check in when you can. What's next on your project list and when will we see some content?
@aaronburford5701 good morning Aaron the next project will be working on the pond. specifically putting rip rap around the pond border. then the next one will be box blade work around the pond, and then the next video will be. Using the pulverizer to plant an area of grass on my property. The past two months we have received 5 inches of rain per month. That’s very unusual for here although the corn really looks good. take care, buddy. I’ll be in touch. -Bill
@@billburkhart Can't wait for that pond! Fascinated by both pond maintenance and the pulverizer! Sorry about the rain, but I'm glad you got a game plan to get more content out.
I thought the roller spun under its own power! Why wouldn’t they make it that way?
@@4u2nve You are correct! pulling the Impliment across the ground causes the roller to roll. I hope I didn’t miss lead anybody saying it was driven by its own power.
Rewatched! One of my favorites!
Would love to compare this to tilling and then leveling out with a drag and then compare that to a Harley rake. Which way is faster and gives a better end result?
Hi Pete, I've never used a Harley rake, too expensive for me and I don't care for the way it can throw a rock or something similar. I'm such a fan of the pulverizer because its 3 tools in one. The scarifiers break up hard ground and the roller breaks it down further without going too deep. The H beam allows the operator to contour the ground where its needed. Finally the roller can be driver over the seed bed to set the seed into the soil. I'll keep this question in mind when I do a small seeding project this fall and compare it to a tiller. Good question. -Bill
@@billburkhart Do you spread seed and then go over it with this to get good soil contact? If so how does it work or does the grass come up even? I'm always looking for a better way. Right now I till, then go over it with my 3 point homemade drag, then I roll it with a cultipacker, spread seed and then cultipack again. It works but I always end up with a few bare spots.
@petebusch9069 Pete, as long as your setting the seed with culipacker, your good to go. Your process is good. Using the pulverized, I get by soil prepped then spread seed, and then I tilt the pulverizer way back, so only the rollers are running on the seed, so it gets into the soil. basically, we’re doing the same thing. My experience has been getting good growth doing it my way and I’m sure you will also. Enjoy your weekend .Bill

Great video Bill and awesome skill using the Land Plane. I love that tool and honestly wish I had made that my first implement versus the Box Blade. Everyone said get a Box Blade even when I said I had 100's of feet of gravel road and a fairly large gravel driveway. I think I tried to maintain all of that with a Box Blade about 3 times and was back at the dealership getting a Land Plane. There really has not been much of a need for the Box Blade since.

@@billburkhart will do Bill, thanks for the video and the response. I'm pretty busy this time of year so it may be fall before the 2038R and I have the time but I'll let you know
Ok Jim. Thanks
I have no problem with this . If you hold the loader part vertically you drive to the bucket and they wil Aline themselves automatically. It is not a thing that needs to be changed. This is designed from the beginning like this so that if you drive to the bucket or whatever attachments you do not have to be 100% in line with it . So it doe’s have an absolute advantage as it is from the beginning.
The way shown in this video with the parts horizontally is absolute not the way to pick up an attachment
