I can make it work with wifi, but I cannot make it connect with Bluetooth. Can anyone help me and tell me how to make it work with Bluetooth? My camera is a Z7ii and my phone is a iPhone 15 Pro. Thanks for your help.
Thanks Chris! Can the playback function be mapped back to its traditional position, like in the Z9?
What model is he using for the first pair of binoculars?
I beg to differ on your definition of a macro lens. It is designed to perform maximum at close range distances in terms of its optical design. Secondly, "life-size" means that your object size is equal to the size on your sensor (or film) thus 1:1. not in your viewfinder as your viewfinder is most of the time not 100% accurate and...how are your going to "measure" your object size in the viewfinder? 1:1 is life size while 2:1 is twice etc etc
I assume that since the color space transform nodes are exclusive to that (those) clips you can import different camera footage from another source and edit them together?
plz n- RAW N-log colour grading premiere pro I'm weting your video🥰🥰
Thanks again Daniel, you know your stuff, and know how to explain it.
This app is just infuriating, I was able to upload my first 7 photos in october and now I gotta do a whole lot of ruckus to have it upload which is over complicated
For the Nikon Prostaff model, someone said to set the diopter, you pull the ring up the barrel towards the eyepiece and then focus. Once the focus is set, you push the ring back down. Is that accurate? (I wanted to check because that wasn't mentioned on this video).
Great seminar
Great video!! Simple instructions, straight to the point! Great visual examples. This was nicely explained and put together.
Many people say it overheats after an hour or so...
Very good
I gave that camera away for free and it only has 900 shutter clicks and it was a “like new” body
Hi Daniel, These videos a great, I watched the Premier pro one and I watched the one where you do the same thing in Davinci Resolve. The premier Pro process seems a lot simpler and the Davinci seems more scientific but the result seems the same. I hear people rave about the grading tools in DaVinci and I have both but I can't see an advantage in DaVinci myself. Which one would you prefer to use ?
Super cette vidéo @aureliegonin6773 ! J'ai beaucoup appris et je me suis faite des petites fiches :) Je me lance doucement dans la vidéo avec mes Z6 III 🙌 Merci pour tous tes conseils !
What is the specific batteries need for this unit?
not possible 4320.... just because of this nikon is laging.....
I'm having a problem. Once I am remotely connected and shoot wireless, the first 2-megapixel image takes a lot of time to download, I mean, sometimes even up to 3 minutes. It used to download just fine in the past. Any recommendations?
Very informative for a beginner!
2024 and my new ZF won't connect. I got it once but will not reconnect. Please update. Even Fujifilm did.
I need to see it in my hands first because whatever camera I buy, that’s the system I’m going into
Wish it supported recording to an ssd
Why do we need the mechanical shutter?
The readout speed of the sensor is much faster than a conventional sensor but is still not as fast as the fully stacked sensor found in the Z 8 and Z 9. To ensure it works optimally in all shooting scenarios, it includes both a mechanical and electronic (and electronic front curtain) shutter.
I still don't understand. Does the mechanical shutter have some advantage over the electronic shutter?
Yes, it has benefits in certain situations; you can shoot with a much faster shutter speed when using flash, and it’s guaranteed to have almost no rolling shutter
What exactly do you mean by rolling shutter?
I’d recommend a quick google search for rolling shutter as it will be much easier to understand with the visuals you will get from there rather than me talking about angled lines and bent golf clubs 😊
I'd have wished from the very beginning my Z9 could do 1080/240P but this alone doesn't make me buy a Z6III I was hoping for an update before I'd buy a second Z9. Also i hoped for pre-capture in Raw because I never use Jpg so this funktion is never used.
Does the Z6iii require bluetooth for remote shutter release like the Zf? I think an update with a specific bird detection autofcus option would help Nikon bring some of those DSLR holdouts over to the Z6iii. The lack of bird detection makes them think this is not an adequate wildlife camera.
Which remote are you looking to attach to the Z6III? The Z6III does have Animal detection, which includes birds, it just doesn’t have a dedicated bird mode. By using Auto or Animal detect, you wil still get great tracking of birds.
What am I surprised at you ask. The semi stacked sensor, Nikon Cloud options & the picture control for the video & oh, 240 in 1080 FHD for slow motion!
Great to see a new Z6 coming. Will there be a Z50 update as well this year?
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nikon ❤
Us Zf owners might riot if Flexible Colour picture control does not come to our cameras soon… It’s probably the most obvious place to start I.e. with film simulations and pairs with the camera philosophy perfectly... I already spent a few hours in NX studio to create a really nice Kodak gold 200 sim… only to realise that it can’t be uploaded to the Zf… Please Nikon, extend this feature ASAP or else there might be an uprising! 🙈
Sounds amazing
Will there be any changes to the card slot door and the strap connectors? I have seen already a few comments regarding it stopping the door from opening
Will the new Z6 III include the old focus shift shooting feature?
Yes, it has this feature.
Chris, great summary on a new great camera. Congratulations. Love the improvements on the EVF. QQQ Why not pre-release capture in RAW even if at a lower fps?
Thanks for the overview of the great new features. But I'm wondering about an old feature of the Z6 II. Does the Z6 III have 'focus shift shooting"? I use it a fair bit and combined with a faster capture and record it would make some of the trickier table top shoots a lot easier. I'm asking, because I've a lot of experience with manufacturers deprecating/deleting less popular features to make room for the new features.
I've heard complaints that Nikon's menus are too extensive but with the "my menu" you can make your own little menu so I think cameras should never lose features. It would be cool if we could delete menu items we don't use, for those who want to maintain a tidy my menu and then a larger "full" menu that only encompasses features they actually use.
Yes, it definitely has Focus Shift Shooting
I would love to have the new custom picture controls in my Z6II so I can have consistent color between my photos and videos, and between cameras when I get the Z6III. Also, I would like for the Z6III to have RAW pre release capture even if at lower frames per second. Somehow Canon's R6II does it, although it probably has some rolling shutter. With the Z6III's faster sensor, it seems like it should be possible, unless the processor can't handle it. But it seems like it should be able to at least at low frame rates. Is there a way to provide direct feedback to Nikon? I have a ton of things I'd like to say and a CZcams comments section doesn't really seem like the right place for it.
If you can have no blackout when shooting continuous high, presumably by replacing the blackout with images, why not do that at lower shooting speeds? I don't always want to shoot at such high frames per second but I also don't want blackout.
It’s because the Z6III does not have the Dual Stream Technology that is found in the Z 8 and Z 9. Without that, there are limitations you run into at certain frame rates.
@@chrisogonek4304 I'm not an expert but I would think that it would be harder for them to have no blackout at higher frame rates, not lower frame rates. Can't it just delete every other photo? I just don't want to blast away at such high frame rates just to have no blackout. What you're saying seems counter intuitive but I guess if that's how it is then that's how it is. Thanks for responding
Asked in the chat - How does the high ISO noise performance compare to previous Z6s? Is there a quantifiable promise of performance, such as the Z6III offers ‘one stop’ lower noise, or some such? Asking for an astrophotographer - me! Thanks Chris!
The Z6III will show similar performance to the Z f, which showed a slight improvement at high ISO performance compared with the Z 6II. Due to them both being BSI sensors, and having very similar pixel pitches, there won’t be a massive one or two stop performance gain.
Chris - if you get get me an answer to the question of how many milliseconds is the sensor read out of the Z6 III's partially stacked sensor? Thank you :) -PD P.s. In answer to your question, I like that the Z6 III is somewhat of a mini-Z8. That said Nikon should include the "Cycle through AF Modes" option that was introduced on the Z8 and came to the Z9 in FW - this would help to make the experience between the camera more seamless in stills. We should not have to do two steps (i.e. hold a function button and turn the command dial) when we can simply push a function button and cycle through to the AF system that we would like. In light of all that has been included in the Z6III, I am actually surprised that this was overlooked (or negated intentionally). Additionally, the Z f should have this function - it would be especially helpful on that camera given its inherent lack of functions buttons etc. Thanks for the presentation - it was informative as always! -PD
Hey, unfortunately Nikon never releases the exact read out speed. Sorry!
@@chrisogonek4304 Really?!? I didn't realize that since I thought it was stated that the Z8/9 had a 4ms readout - maybe that was some third party tester? Anyway, thanks again for the nice video and please run it up the chain that all expeed 7 Z cameras should have the Cycle AF Modes selection - it just works really well with the gambit of great AF modes provided :) -PD
Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
idk. send me one and i'll tell you
Not the price, $2500 US…$3900 CDN after conversion and taxes. Love the features but the bump in price over the Z6II will mean it will take me way longer to get one. 30-ish MP would have been nicer. “Finally” a flippy screen! Love the improve AF. 📸😎
Nikon D3X was announced in December 2008. It features a 24.5 megapixel sensor,
The Z6 III outperforms only the old Z6 II. Not the Z8/9 at al!!!
Nikon has nailed it this time! Can't wait to test it out
it is a pile of crap for 3000 euros looooooooool
$3,882 incl. 13 percent HST...yikes
If anyone from Nikon reads this, please add a custom LUT functionality preview. Thank you.
Why is Nikon making such a thing like pro capture as Olympus has had it for years?
What in the world are you trying to ask?? Or are you being weird again...
@@ItsFritzDaCat I'm not asking I'm saying the big shout about pre capture.
