Love you Nikon, but really I'm still waiting for the new 600 (cancelled my order for the 800 pf; gave up). Seriously, I'm delaying booking photo trips waiting for the new long lens!! I'll pretend this remarkably (surely it is if the 50 1.2 is any indication) lens doesn't exist until it ACTUALLY does (is on shelves), thanks. Looking forward to that eventuality, however :) And hey, tell the folks in Minato that it's fine if there are production issues and thus the lenses aren't available yet, what isn't fine is the utter lack of communication about that situation. I was at a show yesterday and had the privilege of test driving this lens so I told the rep to shoot me at f1.2 .
I told him to use back button autofocus and when I got home none of the pics were in focus.
He did not use the back button autofocus.
I feel gutted 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Hi, what's Nikon's reasons for having or not having digital displays on their S-line lenses? Some have them and some do not but I can't figure out why.
Impressive lens, but why making it in China instead of Thailand. I can’t see myself paying 3 grands for a lens made in China. I’d rather adapt a Zeiss one.
