You really see a difference though over 80-85 mph. That 4.10 will wind out at over 3600 rpm or more. On 1-2 hour drive on the Interstate that's no fun.

It’s not a huge difference but over many years of use it equates to more wear than if it was at a lower gearing

I went with 3:73 in my 99 gt but I have a vortech supercharger and if I had 4:10 I'd have to shift into 5th gear in the quarter mile
